There is an internal struggle going on between Alqaeda and LeT. LeT is ambitious and wants to replace AlQaeda so that LeT need not depend anymore on ISI for support.
But LeT lacks the sophistication of AlQaeda.
LeTs cadres are cheap emotion high idiots in comparison to AlQaedas sophisticated complex and even very highly educated cadres in all its ranks.
AlQaeda considers LeTs missions as cheap Deewali firecrackers meant for childs play. Indeed it is.
ISI itself does not have the sophistication of AlQaeda-that is why it has to steal AlQaedas manual for replicating 26/11.
But the USs fear is genuine. There are many Punkabi Pakistanis settled in the US which the Punjab dominated LeT may use against the US.
If LeT succeeds then it gets international recognition and thereby foreign funds to survive and succeed.
I agree with the Indian agencies fear that LeTs plans to target the ongoing World Cup.
Pakistan is deprived of hosting World Cup and is not playing any home series for the last couple of years.
LeT wants to inflict the same on India too so that India also become a forbidden country to host any cricket series.
If India stops hosting cricket then world cricket is dead as there is no money in cricket if India stops.
The only solution to stop all kinds of terror is to settle the Palestinian issue and not Afghanistan, Iran or Kashmir.
Once Palestian state is formed AlQaedas mission is over and Islamic terror dies down and Kashmir too.

What more proof is needed that UPA is soft pedaling on terrorists. Hesitating to execute condemned prisoners like Afzal Guru despite SC upholding his death sentence, spending crores of rupees on him from taxpayers money, trying transfer blame on some Hindu organization for the governments own short comings, totally inefficient handling of any situation of contingency, are some of the highlights of this lame duck government. I only pray that nothing untoward happens during cricket world cup.

Our very slimy Home Minister will cleverly refuse to act & subsequntly defend the non action as action.it is needless to say that Sphinx will refuse to speak his mind & wait for HMV to communicate.
LeT is getting full support from the Pak Govt. to indulge in anti-India activities. There are elements inside Kashmir who are extend help to the terrorists from across the border. The State Govt. would not like the Army to take punitive action against such elements and also the locals who support the Pak terrorists. The UPA which is the weakest Govt we ever had, also would not like any terrorist/local supporter to die in army action but would not mind any jawan dying in any combing operations, etc. Only a change of guard at the Centre with a bold and determined leadership can effectively tackle the menace of Pak terrorism. People have to wait for such a moment to arrive.

why blame LeT? Are`nt our politicial parties/politicians much bigger threats. So many scams, swindling arabs of rupees, denying the poor troden and backward classes of their basic necessities, their fundamental rights, is a much bigger threat. When these people react/demand they are termed naxalites. Phulan devi - a dacoit can be part of governance, it wont be surprising if tomorrow LeT infiltrates the Government, as for a politician there are no standards, the longer the criminal record, the more the eligibility.
It is a known fact that for more than 15 years Dawood Ibrahim is printing fake Indian currency and spending the same in India through varios routes and uses the proceeds to create more trouble for India. Apart from making statements like Pakistan favours Dawood, ISI protects Dawood, so and so attended marriage of Dawood, Pakistan gets financial help from Dawood, no stepts have taken to eliminate him.
If it cannot eliminate a single person and helped him to grow his stature like this what is the use of having such an agency to waste the tax payers money? This agency should be immediately dismantled.
