That is because they are struck in Afghan else they have no need for Pukistan. The beggar country knows this and trying to harvest as much mileage and everything from this position.
As they Vinasha kaale Vipareetha Buddhi..Pakistan I on a road to self destruction. The current situation is catch 22 for them. If they release Davis, internally riots will increase, If they don't release US will cut off aid to them. The only way to come out is to prolong this case as much as they can. However that too doesn't seem feasible as there is enormous publicity for this story

The end of Pakistan is already on the way, its a matter of time before it is got rid off for ever for good
When Pakistanis kill others Indians, Americans and European's the Pakistani will become a NON-STATE actor for the Pakistan Govt & ISI.
When others kill Pakistanis for self-defence - the same Pakistani who was call NON-STATE ACTOR earlier no will be called as innocent civilian and they call the defenders as Terrorists.
Until the world community allow the Pakistan to talk with State-Actor and Non-State Actor difference this is the outcome.
Only 10LeT terrorists killed in 26/11. But it was clear from Ajmal Kasab - that Pakistan trained almost 100 people for 26/11 type attack. This was in 2008. Now at 2011 - the Pakistan's ISI and LeT jointly will have trained a minimum of 400-500 Terrorists for 26/11 type attack - to attack multiple targets - Muliptle Sea side cities in US, Eurpoe, Asia & Australia at the same time.
May be Raymond Davis penitrated into this gang, that is why ISI and Pak Govt, is refusing to release him.
