Look what she has done to the industrial policy of West Bengal. Singur is one glaring example.
TMC & INC are bound to play havoc in WB governance and administration,if they manage to win which will be the misfortune of the people of WB.

Plan to get rid of rogue journalists fooling gullible Indians
by saggy sucks on Mar 05, 2011 04:36 PM

Plan to get rid of rogue journalists fooling gullible Indians - Over past few months we have seen how some rogue journalists acting as a power broker are misusing their profession to sell india & sucking its resources like leeches. Some of these leeches aka journalists like Barkha Dutt, Vir Sanghvi, Rajdeep Sardesai have become so powerful that no one has dared to take on them despite the availability of their conversation with Nira Radia in public domain. The time is ripe to get rid of these predators. Important think to note is that these are very powerful journalists. To break their power, we have to take on these journalists one at a time. Out of all these rogue journalists Sagarika Ghose is the weakest. Therefore it should be relatively easy to force her give up journalism. Google "Sagarika Ghose Case Study" and check first result to understand her closely and raise a voice against her. Force her to resign. That will automatically break Rajdeep's power into half and it would be much easier to tackle him. If a strong action is taken against Sagarika Ghose, Barkha and Vir's brazen confidence would be lost and they will be rendered powerless.

by sujit sengupta on Mar 05, 2011 02:50 PM

Komreds now cann't even believe themselves that they would be dethroned from their power. This fascist and dictator party has ruined the entire state by primarily abolishing english from basic education and then opposing the computers. They have cripled atleast three generations. Now when people are voting them out, they have taken up bullets(in Netai) instead of Ballots.

India loosing 8000 acres to Bangladesh !!!!
by OhYa OhYa on Mar 05, 2011 01:38 PM  | Hide replies

NEW DELHI: India and Bangladesh have agreed to redraw their 4,100km boundary. Straightening of the boundary would include ending the contentious issue of over 200 enclaves located in each other's territory.

High-level sources said the deal would be announced when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh visits Dhaka immediately after the West Bengal elections. The visit in all likelihood could take place in June.

The boundary deal would have been done earlier if it wasn't for the fact that Congress ally in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, flatly refused to agree to any transfer of population that could affect voter sentiment in the state. At issue is the demarcation of 6.1 km of boundary, and a final settlement on the enclaves and areas under "adverse possession".

The broad contours of the border agreement reflects India's aversion to disturbing settled populations and exchange of territory. This essentially means Bangladeshi enclaves in Indian territory will remain with India, while Indian enclaves in Bangladesh will remain with them. This might mean a little bit of area transfer mainly from India to Bangladesh.

The people would be given a choice to decide, if they want to be Bangladeshi citizens or Indians, sources indicated. "We are working out the modalities, but that is the broad guideline," a senior official said about the contentious citizenship issue.

Enclaves are small areas that are in the middle of another country. The straightening of the boundary would make for easier policing, and if necessary, possible fencing of the border. Many parts of the Indo-Bangla border is already fenced.

A headcount is currently underway in the enclaves on both sides — 130 Indian enclaves in Bangladesh and 95 Bangladeshi enclaves within Indian territory. A senior official said they believe "over two lakh people live in these enclaves but only the (ongoing) headcount will tell us the final figure".
