If people get jobs under the scheme (however defective it might be), the Maoists will lose their sympathies. Clearly, the Maoists are no longer working for the people they claim to support. If they were why would they object to development, education and jobs? They have become addicted to their power and influence like our politicians and are no longer in it for their ideals.
