Holiday?
by MM on Mar 02, 2011 01:52 PM  | Hide replies

Ever since Secular Cong arrived at
center, Mahasivaratri has been removed
from List of Holidays...

Also, no greetings by Secular PM etc.
for Hindus.

I surprise, Lord Siva, being a preciding
God in Hinduism, all Hindus are silent
against No-Holiday.. Are Hindus self-less
divotees of the Lord?

First, you do not need a full-holiday to pray your GOD. Second, you do not expect greetings from govt heads as there greetings or no-greetings makes no difference at all. Finally, if you a seeker of GOD and true Hindus can close their eyes and seek the blessing of GOD. For this no fanfare is needed.

not a qn of fanfair , Just exposes the political expedience of the Con party.Muslim holiday's get govt greetings and hindu holidays like shivratri get the shaft.
Just bringing it to the fore as to what the secular credentials of a partisan party are like considering this

No. Lord Shiva. Vishnu preserves or maintains
the all ready existing
creation. But it is Siva
who brings transformation
and starts the creation.
