Nothing could smell so sweet to an Indian than this. The chinese dragon will go the egypt way. Just wait and see.All dictators and intolerant regimes will see their last days. What a crucial moment in history when ordinary men are changing the fate of nations and their despotic rulers.

These are the days of the street prophets who will bring the rebellion and revolution. The last prophet and only prophet days are over. God is incarnating in those humble men who are facing the bullets and bombs. I salute you !! for making history.

Today or tomorrow the jasmine revolution will haunt the Chinese and a change is eminent. The tight nature in which information is kept under wraps in China is commendable but its their folly that troubles will go away. Ex- President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt is a classic example of how things can fast deteriorate and how shamefully he was catapulted out of power. Even 3% of Chinese protest on the street and call it stroll or roll will spell doom to the Chinese empire of guilt, attrition & trickery. Chinese have to be free and bold to accept democracy. Being the most populous country, it’s a shame they display cowardice. Humanity is really shamed here.

When China has democratic govt, first thing they will do is bring all territories that occupied by foreign countries including india back to China. If you go to Chinese websites to search (you have to know Chinese), the first thing that majority Chinese care is to bring their territories back. They think that the current govt is too soft. If the current govt loose the control, the main reason will be that China looses its territories to the foreigners, such as japan and india. You guys has no clue about China and Chinese. Democracy may be not good for the current China, but it will be definitly no good for your guys in the future.

David : I completely agree with you. We in India believe a change for democracy in China would be good but fail to realise a succeeding regime would pursue perhaps the same territorial policies.

But an alternative angle is that with an uprising likely to happen today or tomorrow, the moment of turmoil should be ceased by us to ensure Tibet and Xinjiang secede. If that happens then China would have lost 35% of its territory and a big buffer in the form of Tibet would emerge. This does not only help us in ensuring better military security but a succeeding Tibetian regime would be India dependent and friendly which will ensure our water security.

by Indian Rishi on Mar 01, 2011 09:48 AM  | Hide replies

Recent movements in INDIA are driven by money. People will come on to streets if we offer them money.

GREAT RESPECT TO MATERIALISM.

All goons and thugs are ready to be on roads if we fund them.

A lesson.
by Rahul Khaitan on Mar 01, 2011 09:38 AM

It's very confounding to see establishments forget history very conveniently and feel so superhuman about their existence.

China really believes that it has cracked the code for authoritarian rule and firmly believes that it is the best for its country. While the achievements (or the look of it) look very glossy and superlative, the underlying truth about human behavior remains the same. Human beings cherish freedom - more than patriotic jingoism or stupendous economic success.

The Chinese ruling elite are in for a rude surprise.

chinese might is as thin as its faith in itself. The communist party is so suspicious and insecure that it doesn't need much to show off the true china.... how long does it take to crash the vibrant china which is tightly held together.... chinese communist party should not only use capitalist economic policy, but be more open to pluralism and tolerant to intellectual growth. in a externally disciplined society there cannot be much human growth.

U porki, no wonder U were posting irrelevant comments here about Christians in a report on China's internal issues. I dont know what is your problem with Indian Christians? and why r u afraid of them. I checked the "Godhra case verdict" site but couldnt find any of your comments. Next you will write that Vatican Agents have had a hand in Godhra incidents. This proves you are a porki in Indian name sowing the seed of difference between Hindus and Christians.

Vatican agent, I wonder why anyone will want to convert to invader's religion.... as much mussies as crstians! But, helping vatican to do anti-Indian activies is like selling one's own and that is what Indian christians are doing. When I say vatican agents, it is not just the indian christians who help vaticans to accomplish their agenda, but all sold-out like MMS, Chidu and external vatican agents!!

It is obvious what you are!

That is what people say everywhere. Why don't you guys stand for election. And show how to govern. After all, this is our country and anyone can be a leader provided you get followers. That is easy also with so many issues like price rise and swiss money. Criticising does not cost anything in democracies! Everyone is an armchair critic but wants everything perfect!

US's hands behind
by David Dak on Mar 01, 2011 05:36 AM  | Hide replies

"It has been reported that among those who took a stroll at the pre-indicated time in a pre-indicated street in Beijing was the outgoing US Ambassador Jon Huntsman."

What was the US ambassador doing there. You will see that US's hands are always behind other country turmoils. Unfortunately, Chinese know this and they would not be in the trap this time.
