Your statistics of a lady and its political party are laudable. Your effort had brought the cat out of the bag.
I am not a fan of Sai Baba or any of these Babas. The fact that Sai Baba left without making proper arrangements to manage the vast empire that he is leaving knowing full well that all is not going to be well after his demise speaks volumes of his irresponsiblity to say the least. Someone who could not foresee such a simple matter happening to the institution that he built cast doubts on his Godliness. And the fact that the demise was not sudden should have atleast made him or his advisors to keep in handy a proper system to manage the affairs properly without the confusion that we are seeing day in and day out.
Having said I can not but compliment the arrangements that Mother Theresa made for the Missionaries of Charity. It is another matter that she was part of the biggest Organised religion who had plenty of advise from Vatican in this matter.
That’s not the point I want to make. So much is written about the source of black money in the donation that Baba got. The media is full of such stories showing him in a bad way as somebody who was laundering the black money of politicians and businessman.
But I am yet to see some stories in the Indian media about the source of money of Late Mother Theresa. Not many in the country know about her relations with the former Haitian dictator and the American fraudster and scamster Charles Keating. I recommend Christopher Hutchins’s ‘The Missionary Positio

I wish the Indian media and the political class is more balanced in its approach rather then target only Saffron clad babas, some of whom don’t deserve sympathy of course.

Unni Nair, you have obviously not heard the Press meeting of Sri V.Sreenivasan,a Trust member, who stated that Sai Baba has made pucca arrangements for running the Trust and all its activities forever, without any hitch whatsoever!All the money is deposited only with nationalised banks!as for Mother Teresa, all the contributions she got were taken over by the Vatican!The poor whom she served, are still poor!

Everyone in India, from a College professor to head of mutt, is getting humiliated at everytime by everybody in India. If people think that it is because of someones caste it only means they have an Agenda. The need of the hour is to recognise this rather than talking about Low caste high caste.
The simple question is how many in the so called low caste are not exploiting their fellow brotherns? Exploitation is in human blood. When man/woman get a chance he will exploit. So do not give chance and cry later.

Caste is by birth and therefore a low caste has no chance to escape from its humiliation. You are right that in a dirt poor country like India, every one get humiliated every day but low caste people have additional humiliation of their caste also.

In my opinion, all these ashrams should be under the control of Govt, i.e under the guidance of Trustees, under the Hindu Endowment Act. Hindus cannot run a private company like ashrams, and all the money should be with Hindu authorities collectively.

What is so strange. It is well known that in India we have large amount of Black money(?) due to faulty Tax system.When part of this is donated it has to be kept and spent seperately.Surely you cannot expect to have all donations from everyone by cheque. Does it prove that it was not being spent correctly??
The idea is get rid of the trustees, the Govt can loot and distribute to muz and caste based distribution of funds, what ever remains political stealing.
Govt should take over the assets of all the BABAS like Ramdev, Ravishankar, Jaggi, Vethathiri, Osho etc etc etc. Total will be more than the black money stashed by others abroad. These Babas should give free service to society and Govt must give them salary. Nationalize all such ashrams.

Govt has no right to nationalise only hindu Trusts!Then they should nationalise the funds of other religions also!It is only hindu Trusts which render free services like the Sai Trust!
