Congress is the worst government to deal with the crisis.
by Vishnu Sharma on Jun 23, 2011 08:04 PM  | Hide replies

Neither Congress, nor the BJP have the guts to face the reality of the situation with Pakistan.

Any other government in INDIA would have dealt with this menacing reality long time ago.

First look at our leverage points:
a) Immense and talented population who need to be guided by a non-Marxist Nationalistic ideology.

Given the size of our population, our armed forces should have been at least 5 to 7 million in size including paramilitary formations.

b)Immense area and capacity for industrial power. Again this has not be used to our advantage.

c)Naval and air-space which again we have failed to utilize by augmenting our navy and air-force to be the largest in Asia.

d)Lack of political will and a very corrupt leadership which believes in minority appeasement and majority bashing all the time.

The whole democratic process in India is flawed and fails to reach even basic milestones in terms of leveraging the power of a motivated people.

ONLY THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATS represented by the NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC WORKERS PARTY have feel of the pulse of the INDIAN people and know who to ramp up.

Nobody else in India have either the political will or energy or vision to raise this people.

If India had been well poised at this time in this century, we would have replaced American troop strength in Afghanistan with a million INDIAN troops there, another two million in Punjab and 4 million in eastern and north India with our air-force and navy primed to deliver the coup-de-grace.

laws never help, its implementation wil help to some extent, but the most important aspect is the attitude of the nation which is basically corrupt. We as a nation has failed as far as corruption is concerned. We helped corruption prevail.

lokpal is not a new law..it is the implementating body of the existing laws...present implementing bodies are government controlled and not transparent..and people in government are themselves highly corrupt..so how can we expect them to conduct fair trials? so what lokpal suggests is to have an independent body, which is completely transparent...it is answerable to the people...since it is transparent we will come to know what is happening inside lokpal...if people feel anybody inside lokpal is corrupt they can immediately file a case in supreme court and get the investigation started..

India has a tickiing time bomb at its next door
by Kirtikumar Jain on Jun 23, 2011 07:52 PM  | Hide replies

Unfortunately USA's perceptions about Pakistan are still grossly wrong. USA still feels that Govt at Pakistan is fighting the war against terrorists for USA. Nothing can be far from truth than this.
Due to this wrong perception USA is committing 20 billion dollars add to Pakistan. Major chunk of this money would go to run the terrorist camps, purchase arms for them and plan attack on sites in India and USA. Thus USA is paying money to get hit.
USA is not giving this kind of add to any other country. Thus terrorism is like an Industry in Pakistan which is giving them foreign exchange earnings of 20 Billion US$. Why Pakistan would stop terrorism?
If USA is committed to fight the terrorism first thing it needs to do is totally stop this add being given to Pakistan and stop paying money to get hit.

Aha, you know more than them? What made you think like that? USA is doing whatever is good for them. They are doing it willingly. They do not care about India. We should do what is good for us. We should not care about what USA does.

Correct Guys, USA is the most selfish country. What ever they do is only for their own benefit. What else you can expect from a country debt of billions of dollars with a country like China and they will never let India grow .

You are right. Attack on Baba Ramdev was an indirect hint that they can turn dictatorial if they want. I am not a supporter of Baba Ramdev but i do feel that his case has helped us identify how big a threat the Nehru dynasty is for the Indian Democracy.

Those who tried to take control, by killing Jawaharlal, Shastri, Sanjay, Indira, Rajiv, are also not any better.

India is a heaven full of slaves. That is so attractive that killing a few politicians per decade is not big deal for those who which to own the billion plus slaves.

Strengthen our intelligence forces
by Intelligent on Jun 23, 2011 07:35 PM  | Hide replies

The only feasible solution is to strengthen our intelligence forces to check the menace of terror. Attacking Pakistan will definitely lead to a nuclear war. Also talking to Pak is useless because they will never co operate with us. Raw, IB and the police should wake up from their sleep and do something to prevent terrorist attacks like 9/11. Also government should show some balls in dealing with terror keeping aside its political ambitions in interest of the nation. Because everybody wants to get rid of terrorism irrespective of their religion. When terrorist attack, they don't see a person's religion especially in 26/11 type attacks.

Re: Strengthen our intelligence forces

Population of India is over 1300 million, but only 50 million are necessary for properly running the country.

Therefore at about 200 per killing, India can absorb about (13, 00, 00,00, 00 / 200)= 6,50,00,00 attacks of 26/11 size without running into a population shortage.

With aerial blasts at a rate of 2,00,000 killed per bomb, Pakistan will need to throw over (13, 00, 00,00, 00 / 20, 00, 00)= 6, 500 nuclear bombs accurately on Indian population centres to defeat India through shortage of people. It therefore badly needs full support of China and USA including nuclear weapons supply.

our intelligence forces are busy with spying ministers.
However, despite their failure, we have capacity to withstand many more 9/11s.

India depends on USA for survival against Chinese and Pakistani attacks. Therefore it agrees to the USA 's orders not to retaliate, which also suits the Indians.

It is ministers like raja ,pc and people like sonia who are giving terrorists advantage..otherwise why would they give spectrum license to ISI and chinese government owned companies?
