There's legal bar on Rahul becoming PM: Swamy, source: the hindu
by swaraj on Jun 22, 2011 01:25 PM  | Hide replies

Dr. Swamy, however, argued that there was a legal bar on Mr. Gandhi becoming the Prime Minister “arising from Italian law which made him a citizen upon birth. He has never renounced this inherited citizenship and that he has travelled on Italian passport all over Europe on an alias.”

Dr. Swamy said Mr. Gandhi should “learn from the experience of his mother whose attempt to become the Prime Minister in 2004 was aborted when the then President of India Abdul Kalam wrote a letter (which is still to be published) which was read by two witnesses present when Ms. Sonia Gandhi received that letter, namely Natwar Singh and Manmohan Singh. It should now be perfectly clear to Ms. Sonia Gandhi as well as her two children that there is no legal way by which any of them can ever become the Prime Minister of India.”

They them self donate on there charity for tax savings and that is why our government is very poor so lack of infrastructure/hospitality.

rediff blunder once again...
by L Sridhar on Jun 22, 2011 12:55 PM

wo- and three-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company Ltd Tuesday said that its chairman Venu Srinivasan is not connected with the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust founded by late Sathya Sai Baba.

Referring to news reports alleging irregularities in the Sathya Sai Trust and the involvement of Srinivasan therein, the company in a statement issued here said: 'Mr. V Srinivasan, being referred to in sections of the press, is wrongly being quoted as the chairman of TVS Motor Company, Mr. Venu Srinivasan. This is factually incorrect as Mr. Venu Srinivasan is not a trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.'

The trust member V. Srinivasan is chairman of Chennai-based W.S. Industries (India) Ltd.
