They are fighting for Tibet. Nehru was not faithful while showing his concern over Tibet in UNO. The struggle is still on for freeing Tibet.

Welcome Interview
by Erasmus Erasmus on Jun 19, 2011 07:51 PM  | Hide replies

Thanks Mr Claud Arpi for bringing this interview. Long due!

After much maligning and targeting of Karmapa by vested interest in Indian media where he was labeled a chinese spy for merely having few thousands Yuan in his monastary donated by the Tibetan people, occupied by China. Compare that with 1000 crore wealth of our homegrown babas, what karmapa had was money for ration for monks for few months.

I can not imagine the folly of those people in targeting His Holiness Karmapa.

Think of it, China is building dams after dams on Bramhaputra, Sutlej, Kosi which all originates from Tibet.
Chinese have occupied Tibet and all these rivers also have been occupied by them. Now for these Chinese people from north China region and Beijing, Chinese govt needs more water.
1) China needs more refined food, like bread or biscuit because their income is high.
2) They own more cars (10 lakhs sold every year)
3) They are building bigger houses
4) They have large thermal power plants
5) They are building more factories

For all these they need more water, more oil and more minerals, which they plan to get from Tibet, Africa and South America.

Chinese think Indians as rivals, they do not recognize Tawang(Arunachal Pradesh), Ladhak( Jammu and Kasmir, Kashmir ( they claim its of Pakistan) and Sikkim

Now, the only way we can clearly get Chinese to backoff is by non- recognition of China claim over Tibet.

So tell the Chinese to buzz off Tibet.

Indians are paranoid to say Chinese regard India as rivals. India is hardly ever mentioned in the Chinese press. On the contrary, India regards China as rival and a threat. Every new weapon developed in India is labelled as a new weapon against China.

You can not be enlightened. Either you lack a brain inside your skull or devoid of minimal intelligence that comes from it. Hit some books on relevant history or religions instead of asking meaningless questions.

like pakistan, bangladesh, nepal, sri lanka, afghanistan, etc. tibet too was a part of india and all these people are indians from tibetan region just as we have madrasis, bengalis, punjabi, tibeti etc. china has usurped tibet as india failed to defend its territory. so these people have come to india their motherland to protest against chinese occupation. just because china is now a global goonda no one dare say anything against them, but just imagine your colony goonda throwing you out of your property and banishing you and no one saying anything.

it seems that britishers had succeded before leaving India to erase Indian history and what we all know today the history created by Britishers as India never existed before foreign Invaders.

India cannot afford to shelter Tibetans at the cost of Chinese enmity. Its not their turn to do something for India. They should speed up the process of uprising in Tibet.

dont equate everything with some kind of benifit back . If we can ,whats wrong in providing them the shelter as long as they dont create any trouble to Our country.
