IT WAS BOUND TO COME OUT ONE DAY?
by shiku on Jun 02, 2011 03:52 AM

as a qualified medic i am not at all surprised by the findings. we all know that smoking can increase the chance of cancer but it is almost impossible to say that smoking definitely causes cancer. Those who understand research who definitely agree with me. BU i am suprprised the attidtue showed by the Ministry of Health and the ICMR chief who seemed to have to have little understanding of research. They began by instance to undermine the quality of the finding of the research.I am dismayed by how the ICMR went on to say on how we Indians are genetically and environmentally different to western population, did he mean we indians are resistant to cancer from electro magnetic waves. I agree that avoid if you can the use of the mobile phones. But i do not agree that dismissing a research evidence is the right approach. We have to bear in mind that The telecom industry in India is very profitable an no one would want to lose on it. I wonder what A Raja c/o Thihar jail opinion on this matter would be.

hard to find gud things
by deepak on Jun 02, 2011 02:04 AM

its becoming increasingly hard to find things in our surroi=unding which are gud for health. pollution in all forms is unavoidable. then farmers using all types of chemicals to grow more.. milkmen using chemicals to increase milk output.. on that so many rackets making cheap eadibles...

health is a serious concern these days

Entire environment is getting cancer prone.
by Oldkid on Jun 01, 2011 08:46 PM

All the fruits that we eat today are riped by artificial means using calcium carbide which is highly carcinogenic. Also the chicken and goats are artificially bloated using drugs for extra meat so even mutton is dangerous. The cows/buffaloes are also being injected with drugs to generate more milk. So all the milk products are carcinogenic. Mineral water molecular structure is also electronically altered during reverse osmosis treatment in water plants which can cause kidney failure in 20 yrs if consumed daily. The coming generation children will look old by the time they reach 30 yrs age.
