which culture you are talking about? have you thought on devadasi and cast based recognition culture?
Lot of Sindhi men are gay - the Sindhis and Punjabis have a higher percentage of gays than rest of India. The reason being they come from the Pakistani stock of people who in turn descend from the Arabian stock.
Reading the views on this issue, i just realized that whatever we do, however higher our standards go up, we will always remain a notch below the civilized nations. For a country where female infanticide is the norm, where people br ee d like r ats, without realizing that they need to provide for their kids, and where basic civic and hygiene are absent, its difficult to educate the masses that being gay is as normal as being left handed. And also futule to argue that in every nation, atleast 10% of the population are born with different sexual orientation. For this information to seep through, we need better schools and education systems, make our colleges and schools secular, where superstitions and gross religious nonsense will not be taught. If this is unnatural, then circumcision is also unnatural except for medical reason, being left handed is unnatural..gay traits are present in all animals and birds, and homosexuality has always been around from the greek era to the middle eastern islamic times and the crusades until today. closing ur eyes to the truth will not make it go away. Let us all not stick our necks in the sand.. we need to talk about this and educate everyone, else the only way out will be to send all the homophobes to a good psychiatic for treatment.
Each one to his/her own preferences. But I was wondering about the future of humans on earth if this and the killing of female foetes gains the upper hand! There will be no one to have babies. NO babies means no new population.. so where will the future generations come from? Immaculate conceptions?

this will never get upper hand. This sick feeling of being with same sex was there for ages. It is a psychological malfunction. Atrocities against women is to be watched. In fact women should come forward. Westernisation in a cultured country like India is harm to women.
