does not seem tobe anyone worthwhile to be Ambazssador to US, what exactly did Ms Rao achieve as Amb to China and later as Foreign Secy except nodd respectfully to her political bosses.

I agree with this, the lure of judges and top beauracrats with plum posts after retirement will make them work like slaves to the ministers and this is another kind of corruption
