Please also URGE THE COURTS to convict those involved in these blasts and then to UPA to carry out executions. Being sorrowfull is not enough. 1993 blasts case pending in SC for nearly 3 years now. Nothing will change till India takes a tough stand against terrorism and illegal infiltration from Bangladesh.

spirit of bombay - helplessness
by RKN on Jul 18, 2011 02:54 AM

Spirit of Bombay is nothing but helplessness, why these blast victims orgnize and ask the govt what measures are the Govt took and what are the systems put in place after 26/11. Why did the people of this country keep electing the same govt.

Govt keep installing committes after committes, but never learn to implement their suggestions?

India can setup a proper system at the central level to meet the present day demands with the money @corruption at the higher level in this country.

We cannot entirely blame police, they are understaffed and underpaid, it is the govt is at the fault and part of the blame goes to the public for electing these stooges.

Reasons Indian Expatriates Try to avoid returning to India

Government Offices and workers are corrupt

Here are some personal experiences from the writer

1) Experience getting voters Id card - On the first visit to get a voters ID card, the clerk mentioned that applicant's application was missing electricity bill even though with the application there was no definite list of documents that needs to be attached. So this applicant goes back next time with the electricity bill and this time the applicant is informed that the application is missing the birth certificate copy. Next time the applicant goes with the copy of the birth certificate and that day it turned out that the clerk works only half day. So this applicant goes one more time and that day clerk mentions that a copy of applicant's father's ID was also needed. So after getting pissed off, applicant gets hold of clerk's supervisor. He gives all sorts of excuses that their office used to have a board with a list of all the documents that are needed but it got burnt. Finally he agrees to process the application with the documents that applicant had that day.

Google - "H1B Visa Red Tape" to read complete story.

What do you mean by forward caste ? Do you know :
1) Kashmir problem is still hurting us due to intransigience of One Kashmiri (Jawaharlal Nehru ).If Patel was given a free hand , Kashmir problem would not be staring at us after 60 years also .
2) As regards Hyderabad ,possibly you would not be an Indian today ( if you call yourself one ) if it had not been brought into India by Patel. In that case ,you would be staying in some obscure province ruled by some zamindar or nawab or king .
Please be grateful to the architects of India ,mainly Sardar Patel but for whom there would not have been India today .Anyway ,you are too insignificant to pass such comments and deserved to be ignored .
Lastly ,if you cannot appreciate , DO NOT DEGRADE COMMUNITIES AND BLAME A COMMUNITY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL'S ACTION.

Its NOT the blunder of Forward caste.
Its the blunder & politcal game of three crooked schrewed layers turned politicians who destroyed our nation; those three were MAJ, MKG, JLN.
Brave warriors like NSCBose, Sardar Patel were all sidelinded by these three stupids.

Thankfully you all young generation know about India's history of partition except Mr.P.O.He has got patchy knowledge confined to forward/backward class. Unfortunately India is full of POs and you are rightly said it is because of three musketeers. Bengal has an inherent hatred for Gandhi because of his blundered policy during partition. He should't have allowed muslims to stay in India. Patel was deadly
against it and he was aware it's implication which we are facing now.
Thankfully Hyderabad was saved because of him as he persuaded Nizam to
stay with India and he agreed. India was doomed the day Patel / Bose was sidelined by Gandhi. Person Like PO must read " Freedom at midnight" instead of writing bullshit.

by shailesh verma on Jul 15, 2011 09:45 PM  | Hide replies

To hell with the so called "Spirit of Mumbai". These foolish mumbaikars feel proud that life doesn't stops in Mumbai even if there are hundreds of 26/11's.They are taking all this as if its their fate and so the govt. is under no pressure from them to take any concrete action. It's the same as shiela dikshit said that delhites have a lot of money and foolish delhites don't protest against any price rise. they pretend that as if nothing has happen, they have enough money. God save these mumbai and delhi people.

there is no point pushing bombay folks into the corner..the city generates so much revenue the folks atleast deserve a better life..it needs super intel mechanism..guess that can be achieved if some israelis come here and impart knowledge..it needs a super task force deployed 24/7..it needs 1000s of cc tv's so proactive measures can be taken..but all we get is some brainless politicians like raju thakeray,ra ra (moral champion) patil and a bunch of wimpy cops who dance to their tunes..3/4 of india is inhabited by zombies who let these politicians and upper class racist caste think for them..the zombies can be influenced by a few inflamatory words about religion, caste and they go into the attack mode forgetting that they are their own victims..someone said india is the next super power..maybe by 2030..maybe 2040..super power?? or super powder..

Mumbaikars are the stereotype of average Indians.

Average Indians are programmed by the hard life around them to keep living and working like cattle till they die.

Nobody exploits this situation or weakness like the UPA does.

Don't get upset. Nothing is going to change this situation!

Ajay: I know we all need to demand accountability from our ruling class, but the investigations r currently on and something positive will definitely come of it.
Also how can one decide to stay indoor forever bcoz of a terror attack?? it's the question of livelihood for majority of the ppl. not all of us r born with a silver spoon...

Nothing will come out of the investigations but the same goose egg UPA lays after every such incident.

They will start the same charade of "building a case" and drag this for years.

In the meantime, everything will be forgotten and UPA will continue plundering India's exchequer!

PO, even if we give over Kashmir to Pakistan, or anyone else, terrorism will not stop. Kashmir is just an excuse for Pakistan's army and mullah nexus to forward its agenda. If tomorrow peace was to prevail between India and Pakistan, more than 50% of Pakistan army would be redundant.
And no point blaming the so called forward caste (whatever you mean by that). Are you saying that the so called backward class does not want Kashmir? Dr. Ambedkar, did he not want Kashmir? Do the Dalits of India want Kashmir to be given away? I am sure not.
Now is not the time to blame castes. Now is the time to find ways to defeat the external enemy.
But in a way you are right; its the pathetic shortsightedness of people like you that has led to India being at this juncture. Your enemy is within you, PO.

Former PM Morarji Desai is responsible for this pakistan aided terrorism in india and rest of world, In 1978 Israel's foreign minister moshe dayan kept one offer in front of Indian pri minister morarji desai that allow our fighter planes to fill petrol in your country we will throw bombs on atomic reactor of pakistan but morarji refused it for muslim votes, morarji was ex-congress leader so his mentality was typical congi, if it would have been happend pakistan would have not make atomic bomb and india is not frightend pakistan's atomic bomb and pakistan will not dare to send terrorist in inda, that time pakistan has not created single atomic bomb, pakistan was building atomic reactor to make atomic bomb and we have already tested atomic bomb, israel previously told egypt that don't make atomic bomb but egypt refused then israle demolished egypt's atomic reactor
