Current practises, traditions, religious festivals, rituals and Gods were mostly copied from other religions including Islam, Budhism, Christianity and Parsi.
If you want a RELIGION to compete with Islam or Christianity, create one by cleansing the absorbed traditions and practises of other religions over the period.

Hindustan, Turkemenistan, Kazakistan, Pakistan naming clearly tells that Hindu word was also brough by Muslims only.
