Real India lives in villages
by righteducation on Jul 06, 2011 04:54 AM

Real India lives in villages. Kindly find out ways and means to involve gram- panchayats and make them knowledgeable about the moment.
Once they are involved all political parties will bow-down before will of the people - real democracy. Remember salt-satyagraha of Mahatma Gandhi

Mr. Vorpal.. Why do you think its a useless article. It is really good that rediff is giving the due coverage to these people who are setting aside their personal lives to represent us all. Looks like you are one of those politicians.

Just too good yaar. Amazing.
You people do all this while working from your office!!

Sometimes it is scary to think the movement rests on such flimsy foundation.

But then one slowly understands that it also sets an example for how to contribute to civic life even if you are busy with personal commitments!

Well, I also just want to remind that backups on original MoserBaer CDs or DVDs are a good thing in case internet connection is lost, hard drive fails, you need to use another person's computer, etc.

I dont think email might make a critical difference at a critical time in the movement, so you might ignore this unnecessary bit of advice. :-)

Futile campaign
by Praveen Kumar on Jul 05, 2011 08:30 PM  | Hide replies

This whole campaign against corruption in India is futile.

The only thing this bill or law will do is create another bureaucracy which will be more corrupt than any other, all because of the publicity attached to it!

There is no cure for corruption in India.

People who believe there is a cure are only deceiving themselves!

Wow. What an optimistic guy. Where do you suppose you will go with this attitude? Do you have a solution to this? Are you saying that every one should get used to this and attain the capability to afford bribes? Howwhy do you think low-level corruption is not present in America? Is it because the people never deceived themselves in to believing that it can be gotten rid off?

Please define "ordinary Indians" and "intellectual Indians".

It sounds like ordinary Indians means minorities and intellectual Indians means majority community!

ordinary Indian's have sent their representative(Govt and Oppositions) in parliament.
But intellectuals have washed the brains of few lack people in India by telling lokpal as means to eradicate corruption and posing them self as corruption free supper human,
but end result would be another corrupt body sitting there to have their shares in all the scame.
