Country should spend money in upgrading its jail. A society is not safe, if criminals are treated this way. Why can't the jail officials put surveillance camera in each cell, and monitor their activity remotely. BTW, this is not intrusion to their privacy, because they are in jail any way...

Ideally, notorius & influential convicts should be lodged in jails outside their home state or sphere of influence. They can appear for their court cases via video conferencing. e.g Put the UP & Bihar criminals in South Indian jails and put say Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu convicts in Delhi, etc.
bihar is most progressive region in southeast asia, its strongpoint is Information Tech, BioTech,NanoTech,NASA is setting centre of in Bihar.USA is outsourced its stealth production to lalus prasad yadavs relative in Bihar.under nitish kumar there is shortage of laboourers inwestern india.minium education qualification in bihar is IAS! keeping this in mind what is cell phone, iPad, vodeo conferencing,soft porn,dicso,mujra, rave party inside the jail only reflects the progress of bihar in general. I partially agree with Ashok. When I studied Engineering, there were fights in the Hostels between two groups who even used knives against each other. Both groups were Biharis. People from other states did quarrel, but not this bad. See the origin. Bihar has been the overpopulated and poorest of the poor. They were badly deprived persons. Each person survived by "snatching" what another had. Hence it is natural that they developed an "agressive" personality. With Nitish, now things will improve.

Boss, I am a Marathi person... not a Bihari, but at least we Indians should start learning to respect our fellow Indians. Bihar mess is Lalu's gift. Otherwise, an educated Bihari is just as good as an educated any other Indian.
Have faith in good governance of Nitish Kumar ji. 60 years of misrule by C0ngie chamchas and cr00ked Lalu, it is a humongous challenge for Nitish ji.
Having said that, if there are criminals from Bihar in your area, try to have balls to fight them out or ask your police do a good job. But a pure hatred for Biharis is nothing but a perfect for a Kurukshetra type of situation. Bihar supplies us with the much needed natural resources / minerals. Good social leaders and decent (read not UPA) parties should try to unite all states together... we are the descendents of the same great people like Rama, Krishna, Buddha, Nanak, Mahavira... Even if some people were forced to convert to 15lam/ x-ian1ty by force, fraud, greed still they have our b100d only. It takes some time to get back to normal. Let us all work towards unity. But defend yourself at all costs, not whine like coward5....
The more mess we create, the worse we make the lives of our descendents..... 1000 years of slavery has changed our mindset.... we are ok with an 1tal1an l00t1ng us, but we hate eachother.... shame on us all...

who is this ashok kumar- His nonsensical behaviour sounds to me like a backward person..the guy who gave the statement is a criminal.what is he doing in jail to find faults with the system? Bihar and gujrat are the most progressive state in india, i am nt from bihar but really commend people out there..probably this guy is from maharashtra where the kalmadis, pawars are looting the money and he is trying to save himself at the jealousy with bihar's development..grow up nerd..proud to be an Indian
