Anna &Team- have categorically and very specifically have said that their version will bring down corruption by 65% and above if implemented in totallity.
Corrupt Govt- Is completely silent over this . They can not give any figure.Surprisingly, no media person raised this issue during Press Conference held last week. Does it mean that Govt plant their own people amongst correspondents so that no baffling questions are raised so that it does not stump them out.
Both the team should give their figures publicly and timeline by the broad objective of Curbing Corruption.
Results will show who is correct. Prima facie , it looks that Governement is buying time to avert and subvert the proceedings. People have woken up and they can not be fooled. The earlier Government understands it , better it is for them to correct their public image. Kapil Sibal should give Indians the figure to substantiate the points.
Lokpal should be SMART- Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Reasonable and Time Bound. Each should give Short Term, Mid Term and Long Term Objective with structured Action Plan.
We all know,Without Target, everything is mere eyewash. Some tentative Target should be given. Every Project Manager is asked to give his target before embarking on his work. People are ready with Govt Jokepal provided they dish out their figure as to what target they have in mind. They have leeway to give band e.g 10-20 % rather giving
Lakhimpur news is sensational but this news is mind boggling. The state govt. has felt satisfied with these offerings. Then Reliance BMC contractor vendors are killing partners to reduce overwhelming population. I pray for the two young men at work.
And this is "news"? Really? Aren't such deadly "events" a required part the construction process- part of the construction documents? Besides, only brainless idiots would waste their time requiring that professional structural engineers review and approve the design of the shoring system, not to mention a waste of money, effort and paper, no?? Worse, in this land of chalta hai and mind-boggling callousness, who cares about the lives of some nobody laborers, especially in this fetid land of filth and squalor where human life is worth less than zilch?

Where is the BMC in this, must be MMRDA and Reliance. BMC is kept out of such projects as MMRDA controlled by proxies of centre get to make their margins.
