The INS Vindhyagiri was carrying family members !!!! What is a Navel Ship doing Carrying Family members and how do we now they are family members and if so whos family and who paid to run the navel ship for personnel use???

its NAVAL not 'navel'.They are allowed to have family on board according to rank.again its 'personal' not 'personnel'

INS Vindhyagiri while ferrying naval families was only carrying the age old custom of Indian Navy of giving one day a year real time experience to the family members of those serving on ships. not a big or wrong deal for good theme like this. the wrong are the reasons which led to collision and further allowed the nation of such big shame of drowning the ship at harbour...we need to circumvent through new, advanced and scientific ways of dowsing fires and removing the waters out of the damaged ships to avoid such reoccurances. taking the ship straight to dry dock yesterday itself, probably could have saved the nation from such shame n agony.

Kasab can walk in, foreign merchant ship can ram Navy ship....Security and defence are only used for scams.

29 years is not the lifetime of ships. We have purchased old ship from russia by paying huge sums and tom toms about posessiong war ships of world class. This is utter negligence and the responsible should be prosecuted and stern punishment should be given to them.
