It is so heartening to read this from Gladys Staines. Unlike Dara Singh, who had absolutely no regret even over the killing of the two children, what Mrs. Staines has shown us that every victim ought not to clamour for death for the killer of their dear ones. I understand that is a natural response, but the difference between the beast in us and the decent person in us has to recognize that brutalizing ourselves by seeking death is not a way of avenging ourselves but of giving in to the killer's designs even more. I sincerely hope some of us also learn not to always criticize courts for not handing out the death penalty for each and every killing.

Anyone who justifies murder is not human. That applies to those who justify murder by terrorists as much as by communal goons.

harvinder, when hindu saints dont show any support to these tribals then ofcorse someone has to come forward and that someone can be from any community other than hindu as hindus dont have tendency or helping nature if you dont beive me just visit once church and once hindu temple you will see teh difference you will come to know your value the treatment you get in these two different areas
