I remember a few years back, the Bangladeshi Rifles killing Indian Soldiers in cold-blood ambush by coming across the border & then vamoozing. this had been a burning issue then. but thanks to our ice-cold (read that as Muslim-Licking) Kangress, the issue fizzled out as always. Jai Ho!!!
There is more to this story - BSF won't shoot a 15 yr old in cold blood. Besides what does the Bungledesh governmtnt think when militants based there place bombs among Indian children - holy war eh which makes it permissible and civilized. And why is a 15 yr old being made to work.
May I suggest "open border" with Bangladesh. This will not only benefit Bangla people, but there would be no need for Military force on the border. Just like we have open border with Nepal, we can do the same with Bangladesh. The only condition, being Bangladesh should become a constitutionally secular democratic nation. A even mutually beneficial approach would be territory swap, involving Chittagong with other Indian adjoining territory. India can have sea access to NE and Bangladesh can have sustainable land which does not get inundated during floods.
Killing a minor girl is quite senseless, it is also reported that she works in India and returns to her villgae, meaning that she was not a new commuter! What prevented the BSF to abdusct her and follow the legal course?
