1. China's Airforce is 100% Russian. (Indian Airforce is 70%).
2. The Current Mainstay of China's Airforce is 76 Su-30KK and 250 Su-27 which are 20 yrs old. The rest 2000 fighters aircrafts are cheap copies of Mig-21 and other Mig and old Sukhoi designs.
3. The Long Range Bombers of china are vintage Russian H-6 Badger. Average age 35 yrs.
4. The Fighter china designed for Pak JF-17 is a product of a 25-30 yr old effort to upgrade its Mig-21 copy (J-7). It runs on a Russian Engine called Klimov-RD33 because Pakis refused to fly a jet with a chinese engine.
4. Its latest fighter J-10 is failry good bird but design taken from an abandoned Israeli project called 'Lavi'. Engine and missile is off course Russian.
5. This Stealth fighter J-20 flies on a Russian engine Saturn. Goin by their track record of stealing American designs of the littoral combat ships their indeginous capabilties are very much n doubt.
Their Achievements are vastly overrated and exaggerated. And Indian Efforts are always abused. We are slow but we cant stoop to chinas level of stealing designs and technologies.
Today all major powers are ready to give their best wepaons system to India because we dnt re-engineer their systems. The 126 MMRCA jets wll give India a parity with china.

I'm so pround of my homecounty china with a long history as India,even more pround of the new acheivements in infrastructure construction,sports competition and technology progress such as this time---J20.This may be due to hardworking of chinese people and efficient chinese government.
However,common people dont benefit much from my rising non-democracy country.There are so many cases of political deterioration and conflicts between privilage class and ordinary people in china.I heard about indian government doesn't do very well too,though as a democracy county, at least not that good as USA.why?
One more thing is that i don't understand why Indian hate china so much. We don't have too many interest conflicts except territory dispute on some area in South Tibet(I don't know what you guys call it,there was a military conflicts ever in 1962?? ) Actually, that's not china's core interest at all,compared with Taiwan,South china sea.No possible to lead to a war especially for two nuclear countries. If there will be a war, probably with Japan(people hate japs plus oil and island conflicts) or USA.

Hi San,
China is India's neighbour through Tibet and the territorial dispute is not South Tibet , it is entire Tibet Region. China is helping India's principal foe Pakistan and this has lead to 1.25 Billion Indians believe that 1.3 Billion Chinese are their enemy. If China wants friendship , it should prove it by stopping military support to Pak and by issuing proper Visa and not stapled visas to Kashmiris and Arunachalis. India is one and a powerful country though not as powerful as China , but targetting India will put China in trouble especially when China has many soft corners like Tibet , Taiwan and South China sea and disputed Islands.

1.87million automobiles were sold in 2010 in indian.. while the number of China. is 18 million...., which tops the world record set by US in 2000... and its still growing at over 30% increasing rate. They will overtake US in GDP by 2020
So forget about China....india and China are not in the same universe....how many olympic gold medal indian won in 2008, 0.... indians don't have ambition, displine, determination....just accept the fact that indians are inferior as a people...

chinese advanced fighter is a result of chinese having pride in their country,do indians have anything called as national pride,the main reason for india not getting anywhere.
i am jealous. but i have a hope we can do better may be out of jealousy and frustration. Any technology advances exponentially and Chinese are already ten years ahead of us which makes them look much stronger but if you look in time frame it is only a matter of ten years. i am sure in ten years time we will be as much in good shape as Chinese are today or may be better. even today we have sufficient firepower to destroy china to rags even though it may wipe out India but China will also be in stone age like Afghanistan. No war possible as far as i think if they have IQ to understand thing rather than copying and cloning technologies with foreign imported money.

this is conclusion I got so far after reading all the comments indians make online in regarding China. they are lowest of lows. it still puzzled me how can they bash chinese like this? my friend you are looking so hopeless ... reasons are understood. but i would like to share somthing about WW2, during that time US was considerd as 7th powerful country in the world while nazi germany was first followed by japan, but every one knows after WW2 US was at 1st or 2nd. and its well known fact that in the war only good decisions and allies are winning wars not the superior technolgy, in term of allies can you name allies of china (hint : pakistan, N korea..). for RAce and IQ , where ever you read that i am seriously doubt about hte source, nazi considerd russian sub-human before and during WW2 but finally they were russians who beat germans badly.
so keep your hope alive... at least we indian are world's most hopefull ppl. :)

not a big deal,dude if india surrender to USA and give their defence to USA just as south korea did,then the USA can deploy F22 in india IQ is not a big issue, USA is the key issue, and i think india has the potential to ally with usa, just check the history,india is lasting more than five thousands years under the protection of different masters. so what you said is useless, anyway india has always a choice that is get the protection from USA
