In spite of such activities.....
by Pat Thakur on Jan 07, 2011 07:55 PM  | Hide replies

India's seas (& even land) will never be streamlined & always be prone to attack. Because India will always remain a beggar country with every soul just preferring to put "self development" ahead of "national integrity.'

Powerful Ruling Ministers of Wahabbi-Sunni-Saudi-Fanatic-Ideology

THIS SEEMS AN ANCIENT WAR. EVIL PPL, WHEN IN POWER, TEND TO CREATE SITIATION SIMILAR TO INDIA TODAY.
GOOD PPL, I.E. STRONG-REAL MEN, WILL RID EARTH OF THESE EVIL PPL.

1. corp & minority affairs: Salman.K (#2 in group, being corp-min, he moves big-govt-money to his-choice-areas, and is main executor)

2. personal secy to S-nia: Ahmed.P (#1 in group, is brains behind it all, massive and sole/primary influence on S-nia)

3. roadways: H.Yusuf (not so smart as above 2, but creates and runs huge, traditional, business houses)

4. timid but wily, min. E.ahamed (also another brain, creating forward many new schemes, deemed as anti-national and fanatic by nature.

Why did british come to this country? They came for charity and missionaries came to do social work?? Just wake up from your false pride of different from rest of indians and read the real history of this subcontinent that existed before the 1slamiiic and english invasion.

Marketing ploy

It is also a marketing exercise by western navies to show some merchandise in live action to the Indian military brass. India a more important customer than ally!!

Fiddling would not help
by Netra Maithun on Jan 07, 2011 12:23 PM  | Hide replies

The longer the world waits fiddling their thumbs, the worse it will get.... The world fiddled their thumbs when Taliban came to power and 9/11 happened.... Taseer's assassination is not a blip. This assassination will be compared to Arch duke Ferdinand which let to WWI in a few years time. We have very little time to save the world from the worst "man made" catastrophe ever in the history of human civilization. Alarmist as my comments may sound, analyze the two options that is possible. First the best, the Pakistan Government maintains control of their nukes. Nothing happens, and we can go to sleep in peace. The worst scenario, The Talibans get hold of the weapons and detonates ( with one with the help of the radicalized trained nuclear experts) one in Beijing or say London, what do you think this will lead to??? Hope for the best and prepare for the worst... Fiddling the thumbs and hoping for the best will not lead us to a secure world.... In hind sight, If USA would not have fiddled their thumbs on Osama, 9/11 would not have happened... Think about that!

use of such exercises ?
by a b on Jan 07, 2011 12:14 PM

Of late, India has been engaging in too many such tactical exercises....Can someone shed some light abt the usefulness of such exercises.. does it really help our soldiers, pilots ? does it send a strong message to the world and esp to our (nasty) neighbours ? does this enhance our maritime capabilities ? does India really have highly sofisticated weapons and equipment to make heavy damage to china/pakistan shud they show any mis-adventure ? can some one explain ?
