If forces would shift from kashmir, who will serve people of kashmir and also protect them. indian forces went there to protect kashmiris from exernal aggresion, if they move out kabaylis would attack again.Our army was not able to save Hindus from migrating in 1988, but they do protect and serve muslim populance there.Kashmir budget is equal to whole budget of india.

are a confused lot. They take all decisions on the basis of vote bank politics, at the cost of security and sovereignty. And they can accomplish nothing in the interest of India.
Special status is given to Kashmir and NE region.Huge amounts of public money is spent but there is no control by India as such in these areas. Now the Naxals, Maoists are added.
Forces for security are needed in all these sensitive zones. There is unemployment in the country.Why not recruit for additional forces?
Excesses by forces in Kashmir is hard to believe.Unless there are excesses by the separatists and local supporters and political intervention, the forces maynot indulge in excesses as projected by corrupt Media and HR activists.
There is a need for control on excesses on either side. It is not prudent to shift forces.The shift will definitely smell populist / vote bank measures.

Kashmir and Naxals are two different aspects, Kashmir is purely a political issue from day one, whereas naxal problem is failure of our democratic system, which is really defective based on vote bank politics, We could not even bring confidence of people on judiciary and Police in last 60 years. Our politicians and govt. servants treat common man like a alien to them, they want to rule, feeling of service to people is not there, they do obligations on people. We are to bring SWARAJ else this situation will prevail all over the country like Egypt.

Good suggestion , Infact we should increase number of defence personnels in Kashmir to ensure people visiting from all the corners of the country are enjoying the INDIAN property.
Why should the armed forces be deployed to fight our own people? They are in Kashmir to fight Pak soldiers and agents. Anybody who suggested this step to deploy armwed forces to fight naxals should have his head examined.
