The Ghunghat or Pardah system was the result of Islamist influence. We kafirs know how to behave well with unveiled women unlike the Islamists.

My Dear friend, EVEN IF the scenario mentioned by you exist in Bihar, UP etc, that doesn't absolve people of others states(in this article J & K) of the attrocities against women. If you are trying to say that J & K is a Utopia where women is truly treated as equal and all the things mentioned in this article are baseless, I don't see a point in discussing it with you any further.
Cheers!

Huh! good conclusion to prove yourself better. At least try to comprehend your religion first. you will definitely get illuminated by your religious scriptures, try to enlighten yourself through your religious books. We Muslims and Hindus have a lot common in our religious legacy but the fact is that we Muslims always obey our religious laws but you Hindus never tread on the path which have been shown to you by your forefathers. I am really proud to be born in a Muslim family. My friend at least try to read and understand the manu smrit or Baghwat Geeta, chapter 3 para 2.you will definitely get illuminated what your religious says about you.

SXR, Hindusim teaches to have love for other religions. It teaches to get enlightened by getting educated. Education imparts self respect and respect for others as well. It teaches to come out from the pinions of superstition, dogma and fundamentalism. It teaches to have love for one's own country.

And SXR what did the desert cult teach you fellows? To use women for Polygamy, subjugation, exploitation, baby rearing machines, The great examples of Zainab,Ayesha, Safia and Maria from your founder and the modern examples of Imrana, Gudiya, Mukhtaran Mai or the recent Sopore sisters give us a clear picture of the wonderful treatment of women.

Now this is not the truth about the Kashmir. whoever has written this article does not know the reality about the Kashmir. I have myself very often seen the marriages in Kashmir where the people refuse to take the dowry. 80% of the Kashmiris do not take or give dowry. The marriages in Kashmir are very simple as compared to the marriages outside Kashmir. Take the example of UP, MP, Bihar, Delhi etc. the people here only study for getting big cars and huge dowry. For example If you are a Phd you will get a Safari, If you are MBA you will get Wagon R and all that, I can myself witness all this. Do not blame Kashmiris for the dowry. The women in the Kashmir are treated with dignity. There is no love for women in the world except in Kashmir. The people treat there women as their puppets here in India except Kashmir. I really can witness whatever I am Mentioning here. The writer here is really not aware about the truth of Kashmir.
