That is why 'Justice' , 'Ethics' and 'Ethics' are importan
by Babu on Feb 21, 2011 08:15 PM

No society can thrive for long bereft of 'Justice', 'Ethics' and 'Truth'. Societies, Rulers and People in power might cheat themselves believing that their very existence in power is adequate proof for their 'Ideologies' to be right.

That is not the case. An individual or society might have all the power and wealth at his disposal. But unless and until he or they don't stand by 'Truth', 'Justice' and 'Ethics' all those they have as power and wealth would be bound to be vanquished.

We human beings cannot afford to exist as 'Frankenstein Monsters', though many of us prefer to exist thus with their own selfish motives and self-styled wisdom of dupe.

If only we could learn our lessons, from this catastrophe would it be of any help to us.

First of all there is no freedom protest. These middle-east countries are sovereign countries (they are not occupied by external countries). They want to get rid of current rulers who ruled them for many decades without accountability towards general population. They are dictators so they govern their country the way they want.

Kashmir is part of democratic country and the state government itself is democratically elected and accountable to people. Also people have option to change them every five years. This is exactly what separatists in Kashmir do not like. They do not want to see Kashmir as secular - democratic state; they want to convert it to Islamic dictatorship so that they can rule it without being questioned. They want to apply Sharia law so that they can use ridiculous laws to get rid of opposition. They use religion as weapon and brainwash unemployed youth for their own advantage. If they have guts, then they should stand in election and rule the state.

Hopefully I made my point above. So the situation in those middle-east countries is complete opposite to what you see in Kashmir. Hence those who support uprising in Middle-east will not support it in Kashmir.

Small correction, since J&K enjoys a special status, government changes there every six years, not five.
