Value

Value:A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $50 bill?"Hands started going up.

He said, "I am going to give this $50 to one of you but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the dollar bill up.He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air."Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air."My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $50.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

You are special in the creation of the Almighty with a special Value - Don't ever forget it!

Egyptians Beware...
by siva kumar on Feb 18, 2011 08:23 PM

The uprising should result in meaningful democracy, otherwise the victory march will turn meaningless.
When and How the Army will hand over the power to civilians is not sure.
Until that happens we will have to keep our fingers crossed.

Dilemma of a secularist
by Vishvaksenah E on Feb 18, 2011 07:40 PM  | Hide replies

The news is-
On the day of prayers and celebrations, many flag-draped protesters played musical instruments at the square......

------

Now..now..now...
the playing of musical instruments is anti-Islamic. Hence this celebration has to be opposed.

Besides that the most important and the greatest secularist of the planet -His Supreme Majesty King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Abdul-Rahman bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Saud and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques supports President Hosni Mubarak.

So anything against the wishes of His Majesty is not secular.

Hence the celebration in Cairo is to be opposed tooth and nail by the secularist forces of India

---------

But on the other hand the celebrating people offered prayers. These Friday prayers were led by Egyptian cleric Sheikh Yousef al-Qaradawi in Tahrir Square.

Sheikh Yousef al-Qaradawi is certainly a secularist. Hence he should not be opposed.

This is the dilemma of the secularist of India - to oppose and follow the wishes of His Majesty King Abdullah or to support the victory march.
Putting the entire blame on the saffron terrorists is okay....but will it convince even the mediocre secularists?
---------
Last heard:
Ultra Secularists like CID Diggi, Mulayam, Laloo, Yechury, Paswan, Teesta , Burkha, Rajdeep. Arundhati .....etc are in a closed door discussion planning what their next secular act should be.

Long live secularism!
