Black Money
by MKeny on Feb 19, 2011 09:29 AM  | Hide replies

If govt and opposition is going all out against Black money then They are have to pay some bribe for getting business. Is it universally legal. I think then all charity done today is some kind of bribe paid in return for a service provided. What do you say about people teaching in schools for TEACH INDIA, and companies and religious institutions starting and Donating to schools, colleges, hospitals, home for ageds and orphanages, Starting NGOs, Companies deducting amount for charity from employees paycheck? So when Companies are starting private schools, hospitals they all amount to starting a Poultry Farm or a Cattle Farm, where you can milk and egg as much as possible with no accountability. Corruption 2G scam is when people do charity at others expense, 3G scam when people do charity at others others expense. Hope the mobile phone companies dont do Charity on their own at unknowing subscribers expense. They start selling Heads Free mobile phones, so what charity that goes from their subscribers pockets is completely transparent. Some companies have mostly started TELEFORNICATION as a business model. Sorry only means You Scratch my Back and I will scratch yours.

no need of regret
by diwakar sharma on Feb 19, 2011 09:28 AM  | Hide replies

i do not agree. There was no need of any apology or expressing regret. Sonia's submission that the accounts are not in her name or Rajiv's name has no meaning. She is unreliable. Advani Ji, by apologiging has given a wrong signal. Advani has lost his relevance in party and as such take retirement.

Confusions
by True Hindustani on Feb 19, 2011 09:18 AM

Confusions, confusions. If sonia gandhi is feeling bad about Advani;s statement, then why cant she proove by allowing the Swiss Bank officials to reveal those 2000 Indians who are having account with them? Also she can proove that her family members have not deposited amount there, and gain more confidence among the public. Instead of that why she has to give a reply that her family is clean?
When will this government allow to give details of the names of the people who had stuffed black money?

Culture of Directness
by Prashanth DSouza on Feb 19, 2011 09:07 AM  | Hide replies

Somehow, the culture of saying things directly, does not go down well in India, where you are expected to say things carefully when you want to disagree or protest.

The culture of directness was introduced well by Gandhi, but he ensured that there was enough respect paid to the opposing party as well, and the British never felt humiliated when dealing with him

Such a culture of directness is the need of the hour in Indian politics, but at the same time, politicians must learn to be more graceful and gracious when dealing with issues, rather than just dragging their own kind through the mud. As we see day in and day out, it becomes a revenge game; the moment the aggrieved is in power, he goes after his nemesis and makes life difficult for him.

Advani has shown good grace by apologizing, the Congress should return the favour and acknowledge his apology in a humane manner.

I agree! Advaniji needs to be respected for his Openness!!

You know this Openness cost him something!! Remember Perestroika practised by Russian Presidnet Gorbachev!! He paid the price for it! Gandhiji paid the price for it!! I do not think Advaniji can survive being honest! His own party cadres are thirsty for his blood!!!

Apology from Advani makes him a man of principle
by my on Feb 19, 2011 08:28 AM  | Hide replies

Advani or his party wrongly tried to implicate Sonia and Gandhi family without any proof! Whe he realized IS there is no factual support, SO he decided to offer an apology!

I appreciate this attitude of Advaniji! He is atleast showing his guts to admit his mistake! What about Gadhakari? He spent money worth 2 Cr for his Daughter's wedding! Where is this money coming from? Lot of Adarsh Falt Owners are BJP/Shiv Sena big shots! Where is this money coming from?

Unfortunately, all Parivar family is blindly adapting the policy of hate-spreading, being unable to hide their FRUSTRATION, failing to make any political gains!

Today's BJP Candidtes and leaders are like West Indies Cricket Team! Any body can defeat them in any match!!

First of all Advani has not apologised but only express regret.

Please try to find the difference between Regret and Apology. After understanding the difference, please re-read his statement.

Sagarika Ghose Case Study on Biased and Racist Journalism
by congressis corrupt on Feb 19, 2011 08:17 AM

Biased and racist media has been of great concern in India. In recent months, various scams have unearthed which have exposed TV journalists in India lobbying government for corporates and hurling abuses at citizens and media watchdog folks who questioned their motives. We did a case study on one such journalist Sagarika Ghose who is also deputy editor of CNN-IBN, CNN's sister channel in india. Google Sagarika Ghose Case Study for complete study and its first link.
