There are different kinds of Helicopters depending on load. What India has developed is ALH ( light heli) for heavy lift at sea we depend on British Seaking

Ellicopter (Elli means where in Kannada, in total meaning where is the Helicopter). With all these scams, we may have the defence deal but not the Helicopter.
