Clearly shows Raja was just following early policies laid by BJP!
by Raja Ismail on Feb 17, 2011 12:10 AM  | Hide replies

Raja is innocent. Arrest Swamy and throw him in jail. He and his Brahm*n/BJP cohorts are intellectual terrorists! They could not tolerate a Dailt Raja holding a high portfolio such as Telecom Ministry, thats why he mislead the whole country including the supreme court, based on a presumptive loss (virtual loss). What happened to the figure of "1.75 LAKH CRORES" the CBI head is now only talking about anywhere from 200 to fifty thousand crore. No mention of "1.75 LAKH CRORES" that the Brahm*n Swamy and Baniya BJP started shouting to mislead the country and the Supreme Court. Send him to jail first. Swamy is a terrorist! Raja is innocent. It is all a Brahm*n conspiracy to humiliate a Dalit. The case should be transferred to another bench. This bench has been mislead by Swamy.

what is your cut in this shameless robbery? You do not have any concern for the country? If any one say that it is corruption, he is a supporter of BJP and RSS? It is people like you are responsible for a weak democracy and caste ridden society. Does a caste brings impunity?

It is an eye opener for all Indians that Radia tapes have exposed the nexus among looters, politicians, media and industrialists who collided to inflict huge loss to the exchequer

well again, if i was not clear, YSR started Sakshi news paper and TV because he that the media was not good. Later KCR started his own channel and about to release the news paper as he believes that media is biased. In between there were allegations that CBN, purchased a news channel in exchange for a RS seat. bhai i just listed a few instances from AP, what if i I have to say about so many states in India?

Well said, MMS is a product of selection procedure and not a elected parliamentarian to be concerned about the people

Sadly does the national media focus on the allegations about corruption going on in Andhra Pradesh? Its not just the opposition, but the ruling congress party people too are supporting these allegations. And why is national media silent on this and not taking it up seriously? When so many questions were put to the PM, why was this not asked? Whats the problem with media? Is money lost in Andhra Pradesh not that important?

Scam driven country
by G Krishnan on Feb 16, 2011 11:58 PM

PM is trying to create an impression as if the price rise is a recent occurence. For the past more than 3 years it has risen up to unaffordable position. Day by day our standard of living is coming down and particularly for fixed income people it is going down steeply. In addition by not agreeing to reasonable demands such as formation of a JPC to go into the reasons for the failure of governance in a serious scam like 2G the present govt. has clearly sent a message that they do not wish to be transparent. Thefunctioning of MMS as PM is what people are criticising and have found it to be beyond wanting level. His mere verbal assurances no longer carry conviction. Everyone knows that the growth rate if they are moderate the inflation too can be kept under control. But if one can't do so by preventing the inflation outstrip the gowth rate then where is the genius at play. Obama in his peech at Cairo in 2009 said "All people yearn for certain things: the ability to speak one's mind, a say in how they are governed, confidence in rule of law, equal administration of justice, government that is transparent and doesn't steal from the people, the freedom to choose how one should live". How apt it is to our present scenario and inviduals can now assess the performance of PM and his govt. on these parameters

Lets do a Facebook like Egypt
by Ashish Amonkar on Feb 16, 2011 11:55 PM  | Hide replies

To all in India,

Lets do a FB campaign, don't know how effective it will be in India, since all of us are now willing to live with corruption. The UPA govt has not given us anything except loads of scams, whose worth could have helped us wiping out our WB loans and be free of them forever. So what does everyone say?? Its pretty easy to blame someone else, but pretty difficult to blame ourselves since we voted them into power and hoped that they will do something good. But now since they are not doing anything, we still have the power to pull them down. Hope that Redfiff does take this as an abuse, but if they do, we surely know what they support in the real world :)

Agree. Most of us who regret corruption, regret the fact that we have no opportunity for corruption. Govt should make corruption as the equal-opportunity employment.
