from democracy to monarchy , from many power to sinle power n vice versa , its natural , when a system fails over long time another arises possibly filling its loopholes , one thing is sure , everyone has to be same to help d system.
If rediff thinks it can like google mobilise impotent indians then answer is nothing is going to change in India.This country of currupt cannot ever rise to revolution.it is also myth we won our freedom from british, it was only given to their agents congress as a Gift.

Revolution will only come if any govt becomes intolerable to masses. That has not happened in India - So, no revolution.

Congratulations on the Independence to every Egyptian. It feels great to be independent. Just make sure you don't go the way our country's going. Corruption, Pollution, population... everything. I've been trying to live a honest life and its tough as hell.

Kalpesh, you have no Kalpana. When we got Independence, we also received congratulations from every quarter. Now we are the slaves of our own. So also it will be in Egypt. Muslim countries will survive only with strong arm and not with democratic way. What is happening in India at present? Why are you talking about Egypt living in a pond of similar dirt.

We are minority who pay taxes, but in our democracy the majority who vote for liquor and one biriyani decides who should rule us
mubarak and ben ali were dictators, but were mild mannered and sophisticated. true dictators like hitler,stalin,idi amin would have ruthlessly killed people if they would have faced similar revolt. can we imagine egypt-like revolt in cuba, libya, china and north korea? these are the real dictatorships-where president is god and people are like cattle
