Ask how many young people know who is Valentine? I am sure they even do not know. But just blindly celebrate like Bandwagon....
But, why is the hell we should care for the sentiments of some Valentine?
How many foreigners are interested to know our sentiments like Raksha Bhandhan, Guru Poornima? Still they do business with us. Wheras we follow even their style of speaking like 'Oh Yaa', tie the money pursue near belt etc. Do we really deserve freedom (from slave mentallity)? A country should have its own originality and cultural identity.

correctly assessed. it is a marketing gimmicky like IPL. IGNORE IT AND IT WILL VANISH.
Vasant Panchmi is our own velentine day & as per old stories youngsters used to celebrate in same way.Even today maximum marriges are performed on Basant Panchmi.

No, Most of the European countries even do not allow to fire crackers NOR know about hystorical background of Deepavali.
They know its useless to tell people to stop celebrating V-day. Nobody will listen to them. After all it was just a political jimick. They will now find something else to fight with.
