.. on the line of Switzerland/Carribean etc so that we too can use all the illegal money stashed. May be than we can do away with income tax, than i beleive lot of black money stashed away can be brought back to India. Anyway i beleive contribution of income tax is not more than 10-15% in the economyy which can be compensated by increasing service tax to 12-13% from present 10.3%.

(1)wat does that have 2 do with mubarak? (2)y do u think only income tax is going frm ur pocket ? Every time u go 2 a restaurant or do shopping, u pay 12.5% VAT, wich u never notice. You also pay 12% service charge which is actually the "tip" which they incl in the bill, so u hv no choice but 2 pay. And the ppl we hv elected, get tea at Rs.1, dosa at Rs.4, plus free phone,bijli,paani, travel. Most ministers have not paid there air travel bills amounting 2 crores. Even if u bring back that money, it will again go in the hands of these leaders, its not going 2 the aam janta... u will keep slogging, keep paying taxes, so will ur children... unless ofcourse we take the streets like egypt...

How about first making sure that the taxes are really used for aam admi and not for maino to stash it in her swiss accounts. In reality, all taxes can be slashed. That will also increase compliance. But, that is not what the mafia party wants!!!
