Mubarak gone, what next?
by P Zipk on Feb 12, 2011 05:59 AM  | Hide replies

First a secular ruler will be elected and his government will be more corrupt than Mubarak. And then people go crazy again and jihadists will come to power. The Jihadists will be more cruel than Mubarak and become a threat not just to Egyptians but to the entire world.

That is how the fairy tale dream of democracy will end. Until then let's all think world is a nice and kind place.

It's in the making of Afgan or Pak. If not, then at ve side, will be like another Turkey. Whose population was held 99% muslim during 1985 to 1988, but at 2010, it hold 84%, 16% shifted to Atheist and chrstians..

Anyway, my good wishes to South sudanese, who will get independent on 1st of July. MAny to follow..

Mubarak is secular like congress, who are deep into corruption like elsewhere in the world.
Unlike India, everywhere in this world, majority religion is respected, not critised like Hindu-religion.
here in India,BJP is spudo congress half secular party, which cannot be said as a Hindu party with pride, despite Indias need for a one such party for Hindus.

India will never rise
by guru on Feb 12, 2011 05:43 AM

India will never rise in the world.
Its position will remain same as it is now. There is not much change in economy.Rapes, murders are common in indian.
CASTE base ruling is normal in all indian states.
In haryana the farmers are coming and going. No new community is given chance,
Same in most of the northern states.
What more people can expect in india that if any one may do hard work he cant become chief minister in any state...........
FATHER > SON > GRANDSON > LIST GOES ON
This is going on in india.
people are running from this country at large scale.
No scope at all

FRIDAY UPSURGE IN REVOLT WILL END MUBARAK ERA.
by jamsheed abumohammed on Feb 11, 2011 10:51 AM

People in thousands have already encircled Presidential palace in Cairo and storming of it is only a matter of time. The military is watching to step in if needed. There is no let up in the demonstration and the people of all hues are joining in thousands itself speak for the anti-Mubarak feelings. If Mubarak refuses to read the writing on the wall, it is his fate and God willing he will soon be removed by the people themselves. The fate of despots like Saddam is an example as to how the very people, is a shining example for Mubarak to leave. He is willing to leave but on his own terms and conditions. He is riches President in the world and wanted safeguard for his ill-gotten wealth and family. He is delaying for people to give immunity from future prosecutions. He knew that once he is out of power, he will be at the mercy of the new administration. Even his strongest ally in war and peace, US has ditched him. It is Obama administration first to ask Mubarak to leave. But the adamant dictator is refusing only to extract more concessions. He wanted an honourable exit and no future prosecutions like Musharraf bargained from Zardari. But Egypt was not Pakistan and Mubarak is worst than Zardari of Pakistan. It is in his own interest that he leaves Egypt early or else he will continue to loose allies in the Europe. All have voiced concern at the growing demands of the people and in one voice the European Union have called upon Mubarak to concede the demands of the people. Will he?

That the 34th National Games is finally being held in Jharkhand is a miracle in itself. And that the sporting extravaganza has been resurrected after six postponements because of years of political instability is a measure of the resolve of the current dispensation led by the BJP’s Arjun Munda.

During an interaction with the The Telegraph after about a month of being sworn in chief minister, leading a disparate coalition of demanding regional allies, he had declared, “Mein karke dikhaonga. Two hundred per cent National Games toh hoga hi hoga. (I will get it done. National Games will happen 200 per cent).”

Finally it’s on. No matter how. A handful of wise men, all bureaucrats with experience, became the workhorses once the state government put on hold a vigilance bureau inquiry against senior members of the National Games Organising Committee, and decided to go full throttle on hosting the Games.

A sports complex the size of four football fields, housing as many as nine small and big stadiums that took three years to build, now stands tall in Hotwar in the outskirts of the state capital. Beside it is Khel Gaon, a 56-acre residential complex of apartments, to house over 7,000 sportspersons and officials.

Over Rs 650 crore spent and Ranchi has never looked so international.

Re: The Real Power of Israel
by Prakash Mudholkar on Feb 11, 2011 02:29 AM
But see the Nobel Laureates that Israel has produced:

1. Ada Yonath
2. Aaron Ciechanover
3. Avram Hershko

If you have so much hate for the Jews, 45 Jews have won the Nobel Prize in Physics - much to your annoyance.

Irit Dinur from Israel has produced another proof of the PCP theorem.

Does Egypt have Nobel Laureates like Isreal? Is it a Nuclear Power. Israel does have Nuclear weapons and the world knows this. It has never tested a N-Device.

Israel had destroyed the Iraqi nuclear reactor, suspected of manufacturing N-weapons. Iraq could never hit back.

Israel publishes more research papers in Physics than even the USA.
