Devas Agreement
by premshanker gupta on Feb 09, 2011 09:35 PM

Thanks God that Govt is atleast admitting having entered into an legally binding Agreement with Devas Multimedia in 2005 in a hush hush way. But, why such a scandalous Agreement was signed, which has compelled them to anul the same after about 5 years of signing the same on exposure of blatant favouritism shown to Devas? The person/sresponsible for such heinous deed must be identified and severly punished.Their statement that spectrum was not allotted is just a white lie as the Agreement was entered into for allotment of spectrum after launching of Satellites, which is yet to take place, and not for anulling it after 5 years.
It is sheer unfortunate that every wrong action is vainly justified on some excuses after its exposure. This indicastes that such actions of gross favouritism, which is anti-natinal, may continued to be taken in future as well as there is no remorse.

Replace incapable Manmohan, let tough Antony take over
by Boban Online on Feb 09, 2011 08:57 PM  | Hide replies

Look at Antony, the defense minister. He is an un assuming humble man in his words and deeds but takes head on the corruption in his ministry, taking on the powerful generals and defense ministry mandarins, who were used to gulping the bulk of the defense budget until now, with various schemes and projects named after patritism and martyrs.

Antony deals with tough approach, every corruption issues in his once invincible defense ministry.

Antony should be made the PM immdeiately, after dumping Manmohan, as early as possible. Manmohan dont have the knowledge of problems and life poor Indian masses, he is not a peoples leader. Antony, being from among the masses and wast political exposure and experience from the grass roots, is a suitable and above all corruption free, successful PM, if he gets a chance.

BOTH ARE CORRUPTION FREE BUT NOT TOUGH. THE CORRUPT ARE CRAWLING IN THE CORRIDOORS AND DESKS OF POWER BETWEEN THEIR LEGS AND HANDS GIVING POWERFUL PUSH AND PULLS.

No use in replacing one rubber stamp with another.
