Even a graveyard looks peaceful to a layman. Millions of Indians are likely to die of starvation and disease in the 21st century. Yet the government is worried about expanding its nuclear arsenal and superpower dreams.
I am glad indian are peace with themselve. but when it comes to dealing with others then the peace disappear. the greed, the violance all over you see. what happend to inner peace. west is better. they are very disturbed from inside. but when it comes to dealing with others they are very peacful, sensitive. thats why they are capable of building large projects and has become rich and powerful. because any big action needs unity, and peacful cooperation. something that indian are in capable of doing. One reason is they had jesus as model who was a carpenter, totally about serving others. in india we have kingsize relegion. all create fantasy. every body want to be master. its very essential issue to learn to be of service to others. otherwise we will live in chaose and violance. inner peace will be useless.

Woah! This is totally untrue. Firstly, having stayed in both west and India I see the reason is 1. in the west authority is concentrated in the top few whereas in India that is more distributed. So more people have the option to abuse power. 2. The weather in the west made it essential for people to conquer, loot and kill other civilizations to get better whereas India has been so blessed with good climate and clean water that people were more complacent and did not have the 'conquering' spirit. Now that complacency has turned into 'laziness' and inefficiency. Regarding religion lets not even get into the topic...India is probably the only country where all religions got a peaceful entry much before any other place - whenever religion was spread peacefully it was accepted in india. Christianity came as early as 52AD to india much before it got to Rome

today in asia, it is non-violence for everyone except their OWN. Buddist-vedic principles for non-violence were universal. and those principle stayed until they were massively converted. By our OWN, it means now south-asia (afgan-pak and india to an extent) is hub of terror.

these tried these tactics with africans in USA and made no difference to african unity unlike the asians. In africa, they can divide the africans by various religion tagged relief measures.

Caste system is the biggest reservation scam and merit killer. For thousands of years the manubadi thugs enjoyed caste based reservations. The result: Reservation for Bammans in the field of education made India one of the most uneducated and superstetious countries in the world. Reservation in military/Army for the kshatriyas made India a slave country that lost to two bit kings from Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Huns, East India Company etc. Reservations in business for the banniyas caused India to have the most dishonest business people in the world that create substandard goods and demand 5000 percent profit also called looting the customers. The list goes on and on.

With all due respect, please read "Beautiful Tree" by Dharampal. This books painstakingly tries to state that prior to British rule in India, India was the most educated. The book is available as a free download in his website. Read this objectively and formulate your own view. Please however try to make informed statements than statements that sound like "Breaking News" type of thrillers. All the best

Discrimination based on caste always existed in India...it is one of dark spots on the history of the land.

You can hear punju say punju 1000 times to jats/gujjars/rajputs/etc in punju to make certain caste forget their full caste identity in over to take-over. they put turban on them, some put burqa/veil on women, yet many managed to keep their caste identity intact.
