no division of the AP come what may
by satyananda rao on Feb 03, 2011 04:04 PM

Venkata Swamy statement is merely a blackmail tactic to some how force high command to
bifurcate AP in spite of Srikrishna commission turning down telangana formation on the grounds of security and majority of public opinion against it in AP.

How can center divide AP which was formed on linguistic basis as per policy of Mahathma Gandhi. Nizam state was devided in to three parts and merged with three different states depending on language they speak. Are you going to divide these states also . what about efforts and investments that seema Andhras did for their capital ' hyderabad" which was sleepy backward under developed town of less than ten lakhs in 1956 to most advanced developed city of today. The contribution of telanganites for hyderabad is nil. How can you divide the state now after so much has been done.In 1953 , the trio telugu baiters namely Rajaji /Nehru / Fazal ali cheated Andhras of their telugu city " madras" ,and their areas namely bellary, kolar, salem/dharmapuri/hosur,koraput , berahampur/bastar by showing that hyderabad /telugu speaking areas of Nizam state will be merged with it.How many times that the center wants to loot our resources and efforts by dividing the state again.Even if centre compensates
RS 500,000 crores in one year to seema andhra region, it is still pittance for the money invested by seema andhrites in hyderabad and associated projects in telangana districts.

Now no bifurcation

Congress may axe Venkataswamy over Sonia remarks
by Sasidharan Nair on Feb 03, 2011 10:32 AM

When Congress leaders are riducling the peoples' demand for JPC, nobody took it seriously and now when someone is raking up an issue which according to him is serious in his own political lines, what is wrong in it? And why he should be "axed"? If that is to happen, What is the freedom of expression? I think the Congress Party should give opportunity to Mer. Venkataswamy to explain his position in an unbiased forum, without arbitrariness, before making any attempt to castigate him for just making a statemnt.
