How

How can this affect ties when that side never trusted this side ? This side has been repenting trusting that side just once.

The Karmapa"contd"
by mahesh bhatt on Feb 02, 2011 11:50 AM  | Hide replies

Hasn't new delhi denied
justice to the people of Tibet leave alone Karmapa as an individual? Is Dalai lama wrong?
What we are saying bluntly to a head of state is that we are not convinced that the person
you have chosen is not influenced by chinese and he does not have the best interests of tibetans
and of course India! Let us grant Dalai lama the insight he has on this and accept the chosen one.
What do we achieve? We help the tibetans unite once again on this, in the absence of Dalai lama
he can be a spiritual guide, and a strong Tibetan nationalist feeling under both! Probably this
is what china does not desire and has been able to successfully sow the seeds of confusion and doubt!
We cannot stop the devotees from china and there is no need as well but strengthen and create a

transparent system of cash collection as well as a discreet system of intelligence gathering so as

to detect the bad elements and take appropriate action as you cannot prevent bad elements from visiting a

temple or a holy place. The sooner we act the better it will be for India and Tibet tan people as a whole.

The dalai lama will be reincarnated as u know this is now the 14th dalai lama. it is not that the india is supposed to support about this matter. it will be solve by the tibetan community itself and about the karmapa lama, he is not wrong in being at this position. dalai lama n the karmapa lama, both r the spiritual heads of tibet but are the two seperate individual so you cant compare these two holy here.

The Karmapa "contd"
by mahesh bhatt on Feb 02, 2011 11:46 AM

Noteworthy is the fact that all along his statements have been the same from the beginning
until now. Now we can either accept it or create a doubt in our mind and we decided to do exactly
that, "not convinced". My next question is that who knows Karmapa better than Dalai Lama? Is it you,
New Delhi or Beijing? If Dalai lama who has been monitoring the developments all along says that
this person is Karmapa than where is the confusion? He is the head of state supported by his advisors
and new delhi refuses to accept his verdict on Karmapa! Could it be possible that this is what exactly china wants?
It helps China clearly in two ways.
Firstly to show that democracy is no good for china as it is indecisive, confused, corrupt and hence
no progress can be made. Secondly to make sure Tibetan people remain divided and show Buddhism
in bad light so as to wean away chinese who in increasing numbers have faith and are turning towards Buddhism. Thereby
reinforcing that religion divides people breeds corruption and is no good for
the progress of the nation. As a large number of Buddhists in China could eventually help
the formation of independent Tibet some day! It is a fact that they show documentaries made to show
to their people the bad side of democracy and religion. reinforcing these very aspects.
Now coming to the question of Karmapa. What if he is the right person? Hasn't new delhi denied
justice to the people of Tibet leave alone Karm

The Karmapa
by mahesh bhatt on Feb 02, 2011 11:43 AM

I wish to complement the writer for keeping his sense of proportion which takes a beating very often these days.
It is most unfortunate that the events leading to the raids in Karmapas office
and thereafter has lead to a very uncomfortable situation. On the one hand are the
events, the HP police, jumping the gun before the investigations and not to be left behind
understandably the media with all speculations let loose. It is time that the police and the media
approach the job professionally and do justice to the investigations rather than speculate
especially when it concerns supposedly upright persons as it is very likely that in today's
world it is the honest persons more often than not who are targeted under such circumstances
and any clarification later cannot remove the damage completely to the individual.
Coming to the specific, the Karmapa issue is primarily now focussed on the chinese link and
related to this is the issue of who is the actual Karmapa?
If the investigators have doubt please read the account of his escape in, "Music in the sky"
written by Michele Martin, 2003.The one thing we miss out is the concern of Karmapa for his people
as should his escape be jeopardised then all those with him and also those who are left have to pay the price.
If the escape had to succeed it had to be kept under wraps and only a handful of persons knew about
this escape. Noteworthy is the fact that all along his statements have been

Happy new year to you and all Chinese people! Let us hope that despite problems, INDIA-CHINA ties will weather the same and bloom. After all, by 2040, they are slated to become two of the three top economies or powers in the world, other being of course the USA.

His Holiness Karmapa
by mahesh bhatt on Feb 02, 2011 02:03 AM  | Hide replies

I am very sad and disgusted reading day by day about Karmapa to whom I regard very holy and pious lama whose intention is only to keep peace in the world with Buddha's truthful teaching--the suffering of samsara and to make everyone of us to realize it and practice it in our everyday life. This is what I am practicing and improving my innerself. If everyone of us understands this they will respect these highly incarnated bodhisattvas who are here to help us to get away from this suffering of samsara and get nirvana and enlightenment. It is very easy to see negative but only wise can see the good in every thing. The corrupt has limitations to find good in pious lama. I can say hundred things but it is of no use, only this that be good in your words otherwise one has to repay for their every bad deeds whenever their bags are full with their bad karmas ( which they do with their body mind and speech). Please be patient and sensible and do not make India a laughing stock in front of the whole world. Karmapa is very respected Lama in the whole world with your mud slinging business he is not going to loose anything .Being Indian I still respect and pray for him and will always. Don't make and create India as a small hearted country. Be generous and large hearted Indians as we used to be, have love and compassion this is the only thing which is badly needed today.

What is there to hurt
by DF on Feb 01, 2011 08:42 PM  | Hide replies

China is trying everything under the sun to break India. Look at its policies in Nepal, Pakistan and other neighbouring countries, all point to an anti India stance. Look at its continued support to Maoist in India. Now this Karmapo issue. This guy is a spy treat him like one and kick the guy out of India. Trusting the Chinks will be a biggest mistake India can make and will surely lead to Indias break up. China clearly knows the only country in this world to challenge it is India, it China does not have the balls now to attack India directly hence this mischief. Treat China like an enemy but with open arms.

Please be respectful for His holiness Karmapa I am Indian and I am practicing all the good things which our ancestors taught. They are our respected guests (Athithi) they have left their country with so much pain and torture and today we are also behaving like china.China has given them physical pain and we are giving them verbal pain. My grandmother used to say verbal harsh and bad words are worse than physical pain. All these harsh and bad things show the wisdom of Indians. Take time and think and then only say, I am sure you will not repeat any bad thing to anyone in future. We all have Buddha nature and Buddha will never say unkind words. Even pray and be gentle with your enemy and you will have at the end no enemy.
