Bangarappa can be termed as The Most Corrupt Chief Minister of Karnataka till date. He looted the state and kept his people backward and poor. He backstabbed Veerendra Patil(so far the most honest and efficient CM) by doing a sultanate in Karnataka.He effectively used his caste name and ram manohar lohia & gopala gowda's name to rise in politics. Tried to spoil Raj Kumar's family. Filled coffers of Congress during Narasimha Rao's regime by openly taking bribes and manipulating govt tenders.Ultimately PVN had to dispense away as he was proving liability for Congress.During his playboy days he flirted with enough women.He has made enough wealth for his family and enjoyed life till last. People were fooled by him initially but people gave him back properly when he deserved

Agree.He was in Congress,JDS,BJP,KranthiDal, Mulayum's SP,etc.His tenure as CM was a disaster and he was kicked out.The man had no idealogy but only selfish interest.He was corrupt and was charged in the Classic Computer Case.He fooled the public for years based on caste politics till the people saw through his game.Even his native Shimoga and Sorab finally turned against him and voted for Yeddiurappa of BJP.
