This is the height of coommercialization of even the religion. Branches of all temples mosques and churches everywhere so as to loot the money from people in the name of religion. Indians pour more money in temples than helping a guy who is in real need and making someone's life better..... WE ARE DEFINETLY RELIGIOUS....

India is basically a spiritual country and Indians are naturally spiritual by Nature and that is how the World sees the Indians.
But unfortunately we seem to have to lost all these ethical values because of Modernization,westernization etc.
Religion, G0d and Spirituality is essential for embedding moral, and ethical values right from childhood.
Indians are UNIQUE compared to Asian Pacific, Southeast Asia and East Asian citizens in pariticular. They drenched themselves into Sprituality, Morality , G0d , Superstitions and Religion , so deep, it has become a GRAVITY to keep themselves on GROUND.
Without G0d , Religion, Faith, Obsequious bow and submissiveness, their lives will be WEIGHTLESSNESS on Planet Earth itself.
It is quite essential to invite FDI to keep indians on ground.

you are right. we need foreign MNCs to build and run temple. just like we got economic growth because of them. our relegion will be purified by them. right now its all dark.

In case you are talking about the "Marketing" i.e. the "Commercialization" of Indian Religious thought and practices then that has been going on since the day's of The Beatles in the 1960's.
