Why not do a survey on'India's most loved politician' and you will be in for some real surprises!! The first being, your having to strggle to find one name to begin with!!!

I am terribly surprised to see Dr. Manmohan Singh in this list. Only his image has made this entire column unbelievable. Either the sample survey was wrong or those who made are mad and biased. No point of publishing something that is worthless. It erodes the sanctity of the media vehicle. Now onward i shall take rediff articles with a pinch of salt always. I am quite a balanced headed person but this is just not done.

MMS protected Raja till the last. Appointment of CVC is another matter. Any person with honesty sense of responsibility would have resigned and gone long back.

An extremely qualified person like MMS, when at such a high position, compromises with governance and permits scams after scams to continue, is no less guilty than A-Raja or Kalmadi. As of now, his qualities are in past sense.

I understand your eagerness to include some how in the list. he is not hated in his state of Gujarat.In spite of media barking against him he came out successfully in Gujarat.Still you feel he is hated by people!!!

Jyoti Basu remained unbeaten all his life as the CM of W Bengal. Not once did the opposition (the Congress or the great rabble rouser Mamata) come anywhere near threatening his party's prospects in any election during 3 decades !
Does that mean that Jyoti Basu is not hated at all by anyone ??
himself as the most hated person in India for electing and re-electing thieves in the name of caste, religion, language, ethnicity, sympathy and most damagingly, 'ECONOMIC REFORMS' !!
