The Hindus had a separate method of investigation. Many of what they said about our own planetary system seem to be correct, like Mars is a splinter of the earth, Saturn is a splinter of Sun and so on. They also claim that there are 12 such Suns as of ours in the Milky way (Ksheera samudra). It may be worth going through what ever remaining Hindu literature.

The white people will never give any credit to brown people. Aryabatta predicted that the Earth rotates around the sun, but the white guy Copernicus, a 1000 years later got all the credit. Same with Marconi who copied Bose' radio waves and got credit. Brown people will never get any credit.

They can't give credit to brown people coz they have already made up in mind during invading and looting and killing other countries that they are superior to everyone and they digest every possible things into their own to keep alive their own EGO and PRIDE..

Bharat is like a Ocean no matter how much knowledge u steal from here .. We still have more to share !!

I am not sure...
by Tom Dick on Dec 12, 2011 08:34 PM

One thing I don't understand is that why do we say that life can exist if there is water and oxygen. There could be aliens who doesn't breath oxygen or drink water. For all I care there could be aliens breathing carbon monoxide and drinking sulphuric acid and thriving....what I mean is that life could be elsewhere thriving on other medius other than water and oxygen. In any way it is foolish to think that we are alone in this universe. Only hope human will not encroach their privacy and spoil their lifestyle with our never ending thirst for aquiring everything.

Some views about, How Life works ?
by Suraesh Singh on Dec 12, 2011 03:29 PM

It might look off-topic, just writing to help calm down religious fights!

Theory of origin of life only says that lighting strikes happened in oceans filled with amino-acids and single cell organism came into existence.

But question arise, How matter become conscious ? My assumption is that one of the basic element of life should have potential for consciousness and other elements just make it possible.

If we assume that its light which become living then water may just be a stimulant to make us aware and all organic and inorganic molecule in the cells/body, may just be there to hold light in a confined space/shell by total internal reflection.

Externally light falls in the ocean of water but from internal perspective we become aware of own existence and try to make whatever logical/illogical sense of it. But still in the dream we fear to go back to becoming unconscious/dying and try hard to hang on to whatever and avoid death.

This fear of death or desire to have better and longer dreams may be the cause driving the evolution. After countless trials and errors the dreaming light finds better and better ways to dream and externally it manifest as evolution from single cells to complex organisms.

Just like CDs are coded with lasers, similarly our life experiences may distort energy fields within Soul/photon and our rebirth might depend upon balance between quality and quantity of life experiences?

Lot of misinformation
by Syz on Dec 12, 2011 02:28 AM  | Hide replies

There are lot of misinformation in this article. It is not correct to say that the planet is "habitable". Yes, it resides in a habitable zone, that does not mean that the planet is habitable. Mars is also in a habitable zone, but it is not a habitable planet. It is possible that liquid water can be present on the surface of the planet because of temperature. But it should be noted that temperature is not the only factor for water to be present in liquid form; atmospheric pressure is another thing that is needed for water to be in liquid form. A small atmospheric pressure would cause the water to evaporate or may not be present in liquid form at all, just like what happened in Mars. So, it is not right to call at this time a habitable planet; yes, it resides in a habitable zone, but not enough information is available at this time. However, it is possible for bacteria to be present on that "habitable" planet as bacteria are known to be very resilient form of life.

Syz:

There's a lot of misinformation in your message. First make up your mind whether you understand the word "Habitable".
THEN read the above article. You'll find this:

"Liquid water is necessary for life as we know it, and this new planet might well be not only habitable, perhaps even inhabited."

Maybe the sentence is a bit too much for you to understand given your usual comprehension abilities, so give it a week or two... you should get there eventually...

On second thoughts (after reading your note on Einstein's general theory of relativity) I take back my words...
It might have been a genuine oversight from your end... :)

Hope you don't take any offence at my message, I'm deeply sorry about it... :)

Liquid water with good temperature is enough for life ;) .. Dont worry about Atmospheric pressure :P because this planet is twice of planet earth so good chance that this planet have good atmospheric pressure .. Clouds are good signal. But the main question is How Humans can reach there :P

Has any one livid 600 years.
To reach there one has to travel at the speed of light and it will take 600 years.
Can we humans do that.
Never in next million years.

When you travel near the speed of light your biological clock slows down because of the time dilation. You may reach the planet in less than 50 years of "your" watch onboard of the spacecraft, but that could mean several hundred years on earth time. Please read Einstein's general theory of relativity.

If we travel at the speed of light then we one common man reach there in his lifespan :P . Time will slow down for him. In short 1 year of man who spend his life at the speed of light = 20 years of common man on earth ;)
