The question of religion
by French Cuisine on Sep 02, 2011 12:14 AM  | Hide replies

By now you should be convinced that there is something wrong with this thing - religion. No religion will be shown free of prejudice and hostile mentality. Therefore one has to approach this question from a neutral (perhaps) atheistic point of view. The top religions according to the number of followers:

1. Christianity - 2.1 Billion
2. Islam - 1.2 Billion
3. Hinduism - 880 Million
4. Buddhists - 382 Million
5. Sikhs - 25 Mil
6. Jews - 14.82 Mill
7. Others - 815 Mill (will include Zoroastrianism, Jainism, European pagan and African religions).

Time is ripe to rate these religions - first 6 will do since all the others are dying. How do we rate religion - mostly looking at its ideas and followers. The spiritual and philosophical contents are the most important concepts, as well as the amount of pain its followers were able to inflict on others. Jainism, which has non-violence as its main tenet, is almost completely dead and cannot be among competitive religions. So here it goes:

1. Buddhism (best religion IMO) - mainly addresses question of suffering and brilliantly combines Hindu ideas with Buddha's teachings to enable mind control and discovery of inner self. Believes in non-violence and was spread peacefully. Criticisms are - adherence to poverty, in a way self-immolation to rid of desire, unnecessary use of Buddha's cult and dogmatic ascetic practices.
2. Judaism (second best) -

There was nothing called as Hindu when Buddhism was the religion of this country, read history a little more and make sure that you next time separate Buddhism and Hinduism.

Dravid was Not Out but see what British Media says. Excerpts from BBCWorld coverage on the 03-Sep ODI:

On-field umpire Billy Doctrove adjudged that Dravid had not made contact as the ball went through to wicketkeeper Craig Kieswetter but, although the "Hotspot" thermal imaging camera concurred, TV umpire Marais Erasmus said there was a sound and that he could see a deflection - a view later backed up by the "Snickometer" which highlighted a clear noise as the ball passed the bat.

BBC Test Match Special summariser Mark Butcher said: "Hot Spot is not something you can completely rely on.

"It's a bad piece of kit for those fine nicks but Dravid's body language told me he was out because the millisecond the ball passed the bat, he jerked his head to see behind."

And after the game, Parthiv Patel admitted: "I heard a noise."

The govt. must investigate and severely punish the culprits
by Rachit Sharma on Sep 01, 2011 10:14 PM  | Hide replies

This accusation must be investigated thoroughly and impartially by the Govt and Judiciary. If we can believe what Wikileaks could be right in framing Pakistan against India, we must also believe that it might be right against us.
So, launch an investigation independently and set an example for the world. This in particular will be a good weapon against Pakistan if we are to prove our case right.
If someone is caught promoting the Taliban, don't spare him. Because this is the case of killing th innocents- here or there. You cannot repay someone's life.
It would be a shame if our country has followed into the footsteps of the country whih we love calling a hub o terrorism.

yes, this accusation must be investigated thoroughly and impartially but the 2611 need not be investigated and probed, only allegation is enough for that and dossiers are already available in plenty to provide fake proof...

India may or may not have supported Talibans, but, one thing is very certain and true. That is- the amount of corruption of plunderings of the national wealth, which has far exceeded Mahmood Gazni's plunder of Som Nath Mandir 18 times, far exceeded the plundering by Mughals and British, during these 64 years of cursed Independence, has helped the terrorism,Jehad that now there is no security of the nation left. Imagine how many lakhs Crores of rupees were sent out by Hassan Ali ,now in Jail. The three cheif ministers of the states and a top-hand of the congress were forced to save him because of this plunder.Had they not saved him they also would have been cought. All the money sent out was through Hawala, that is terrorists or Jehadis.India has not forgotton tha 2G has compromised India's security to Talibans/Mujahiddins etc as well as other. In fact now India has no security left at all.We have become a very soft country.Any body can do anything with India and India probably not in position to react.India can merely pretend that it is reacting. All this because of plundering of India by our Neta jis.But luckily, thanks to Baba Ram Dev,the Indians are awake. The Ministers, the UPA govt have started trembling. They have seen the gathering of public at Ram Lila ground twice. It will be much more and hence all corrupts are busy engaging or looking for good lawyers etc to protect them from jails.Very very big he-fishes and she-fishes are going to be fished soon.

It is in interest of western looters&dacoits to make nations fight so that they can sell weapons worth billions or trillions of dollars and continue the loot of poor and third world nations. So this article is nothing new! These crooked western looters&dacoits keep prasing non-violence and mahatma gadnhee for the past 15 years, BUT have NEVER used non-violence or mahatma gandhi to solve any of the problems of the world and USE VIOLENCE and Killings&genocide 24 hours a day for the past 200o years too.Westerners have Been Fooling& Looting Third World& Fourth world black&coloured people including Indians& Hindus for the past 1000 years& more and how many people know that the whole of America& Canada& australia and new zealand was Bought or SNATCHED by christian europeans by fooling the red Indians& aborigines& helpless poeple by paying a total of less than 100000 dollars& also these barbarians eliminated by genocide millions of red indians&aborigines&non-white population or converted them by force to christianity too. Remember one sq acre of land in new york,USA costs more than the total amount the Christian European looters paid to red indians for usa, canada, australia&new zealand combined& you can see these westerners are the greatest barbarians&beasts&looters of world history&they are preventing even entry of people from third world or fourth world&hindus to their soil using all sorts of Dirty

People like you can not change whatever get in their life. Even many upper class hindus are very poor now a days and not getting any support from anywhere like the lower class are enjoying their life on the tax money being paid by millions of upper class hindus.

We need to wipe out our history of Humiliation of past 1000 Years to redeem our prestige. All names of Villages/ Streets/ Buildings that are meant to honour the plunderers need to be removed and so also the buildings that we wrongly call heritage sites. This is not our heritage but insult to us.A debate must take place on this and act of parliament shout be made to redress this insult of history.Turks were foreigners and till date they do not believe in respecting us.They plundered Delhi and converted Many structures built by our forefathers .This must be set right. We should not show such structures to Foreigners as our legacy It is very dark period of our history5
