I agree with Yogi Sikand. Ghandiji tried to attract people from all classes and religions.But Anna need only RSS and "Shining India" Middle Class.Ghandiji wants a Decentralisation of power.Anna wants centralisation of power like RSS.

bro dont know if u really are Ahamad but people who came to support Anna included Aamir Khan, Sonu Nigam, Om Puri, Anupam Kher,Farhan Akhtar ,Dia Mirza,Former RJD MLA Asif Mohammad Khan ,Maqsood Ull Hasan Qasmi, president of the Imam Council of India etc are not a part of RSS and definately dont support RSS even in their dreams

If you don't like Anna, we, the people of India are willing to consider some other leaders, preferably a Dalit - Muslim - Female. I don't know any such personally, so the next best might be the poor rickshaw puller from UP, a Muslim who fasted along with Anna.
Indians only want to end corruption, then the goonda raj of the politicians.
In education, the great, much needed reform of reducing the hidden terrorism of exams has already been done by Kapil Sibbal so not much worries there.
You know Yogi Sikand, we're a little rich nowadays, as Indians. SO we have started misbehaving like this only. Till now our Maai Baaps, whom you so lovingly refer to as democractically elected representatives representing competing interests, were not questionable. If a MAI BAAP, who has never fought an election in his life, but put on head from Rajya Sabha says Nuclear Power is good, well its good. Now that we're a bit rich, we are asking, Bhai, Why Nuke (power) is good?
What to do, we are like that only.
BTW, I wonder what competing interests were faced by Ms. Sheila Dixit a high caste lady accused (I believe) of financial issues related to CWG and A. Raja a Dalit gentleman accused of the same w.r.t. 2G and Laloo Yadav an OBC gentleman accused of eating cattle fodder worth Rs. 3000 Cr. during his tenure as CM of Bihar?
This anna agitation has diversed focus from real corrupts to Govt. of India (PM, FM, Sonia and Rahul...as if they are most corrupt in this country)...real corrupt people are doing their job well and no one shouting against them

So why is the govt of India (PM, FM, Sonia and Rahul) who, as per you, are not the most corrupt, not doing anything to end the corruption of the truly corrupt? Has someone stopped the Congress for the last 64 years from exposing the corrupt.

All the fascist ingredients are built into the anna version of lokpal. didn't yousee that? Who do you think are the lokpal appointee for anna version.
Many Indian states would be better off with greater autonomy which will help them shed the burden of pulling dysfunctional north indian states. States like Mah, Karnataka, TN, Gujarat can do much better with greater autonomy and less interference from centre.
