R U Upper Class?
by Soumitra Dasgupta on Aug 25, 2011 03:31 PM

You see the middle class and identify their follies and give the judgment. So you must be observing from a psychological upper echelon. If one satisfy all poor Indian with adequate food and shelter - there will be people like you to criticize and condemn it. You people, will not do any thing and try to stop new things to roll on either for fear of insecurity of new condition or for some selfish need.Or may be like Arundhati, cry for importance through anti current moves like any irritating child. You will certainly delete this.

Hey Navneet, its very easy to criticize someone for doing something which is of larger interest. If you have better solution than please come forward and show the world what you have. I'm not saying this Jan Lokpal will be 100% effective in curbing corruption, but definitely it'll help to reduce it to substantial level.

Because of people like you who like to oppose each and every view of other people under sun, we are in such dire state as a country. If you find something unsuitable for a particular cause, you should try to improve it, rather than being critical.

Mr Anand, i give you A in english, C- in Math and Common-Sense.

This whole thing has nothing to do with Anna- it is all about "AWARENESS" and just a starting point of the evolution of indian political system.

Come up with a better solution and please don't worry about making a mockery of the country in front of the world.

Partial blind analysis

" To rinse our country of corruption requires a more structured, sustained and solemn design. Latching on to a social worker, surrounded by power-seeking bureaucrats and lawyers, may not be a great idea."
The second part is false. The first part is redundant as everyone including Team Anna is aware of.
And this movement is part of that structured design.
If not, please offer one idea of your instead of broadly giving ambiguous statements like this

Argumentative Indian
Re: .
by Argumentative Indian on Aug 24, 2011 06:03 PM
The politicians love for Dalits & Minorities is a mask to continue to promote corruption in India.

BTW, Dalits & Muslims are the worst hit by corruption, since this is the section that is most dependent on Government institutions from education & jobs to healthcare.

There is large support of ordinary Muslims & Dalits to this movement. Usually Dalits & Muslims, can only be mobilized by their caste or community leaders, some of these leaders, like the Imam Bukhari are openly thought of as extensions of specific political parties, aligned for personal power / influence. Despite false calls by the Imama Bukhari and others the common people are fighting corruption.

BTW why did Congress react so fast to the fast by that Telangana character, KCR or something like that? He's just another twopenny regional politician who got wiped out in the previous elections!!!!

Common people are fed up of high prices, continued scandals coming out of government cupboard and non stop corruption.
