why govt wakes up only when a crisis is created the bill is under discussion for whole of 7 years of upa regime ,why they could not take action all this time .what is the guarantee that they are just buying time to whittle it out ,in whose interest we do not know every time frame is possible if govt has a will .for not doing it there can be 100 excuses

The reason for taking time is very simple. If a strong Lokpal Bill is introduced and implemented then most of our current politicians and their family members will be in jail and our current politicians are not well prepared to find a loophole or escaping route after doing the corruption. They need time to master the art of escaping.
