Hello!! We want the News not it is stolen or copied. Rediff is giving usefull informations so we are reading thats all.
I do not know why several people as also media and even reputed journalists are so confused. Anna is fasting for a law against corruption to be passed. What it means is that a stringent bill should be framed and tabled before the Parliament and that Parliament in the form of Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha must pass it. He is NOT saying that his own version be passed. But if his Bill itself is NOT EVEN TABLED before the Parliament, then how will it ever get discussed. A few other lot are proclaiming loudly that he is holding the Parliament to ransom. If he does NOT demonstrate a public display of solidarity against corruption, how do you get the corrupt politicians to nail themselves with the Lokpal Bill? And lastly, this stupid argument that Parliament's powers are being stymied. By the same logic, even Mahatma Gandhi used similar tactics to fight the British. That's why the British jailed him several times on charges of 'attempt to overthrow Her Majesty's Government'. But seeing the will of the people in Mahatma Gandhi resisted from going overboard. Unfortunately, in today's India, neither the Congress nor the other political parties have any respect ... either for the rule of law or for the constitution or have love for their own motherland at heart. Each one is calculating how much monies they can amass during the next best opportunity. It is at times like these that you need MAHAPURUSH to bring these scoundrels to right sense.
