Objectively put, how many of you would give another chance if it were a Medical college, and the student was to treat one of your dear ones?

they can just give them transfer certificates,

let them free to join some other colleges which might admit them. they have no right to issue any 'not fit for tech educ' certificate to any student.

in fact every student in any college in the country should have the freedom to get transfer certificate and join any other college that might admit him/her, as in the usa. really good colleges will get really good students in large numbers. cow-shed colleges will get closed and commercial college-lords will go broke.

You are right. Unless strict benchmarks are maintained, college education is a joke. Throw these students out.

They should enter politics
by shanthipriya on Aug 14, 2011 06:05 PM  | Hide replies

If see major universities like Osmania University, most of the students who participate in politics are the failure candidates or government supported long term scholars. Eventually, they will become leaders and ministers. If they pass the exam of NIT, they miss the opportunity of becoming leaders.

Passing marks should be reduced
by Hago Kiruttinan on Aug 14, 2011 04:32 PM  | Hide replies

... to enable these engineers to pass. This seems to be a Forward Caste issue to keep high marks for passing. Backward Castes and illiterates should be awarded free certificates in Engineering. The brahmins did not allow these people inside temples. That is the reason they are failing. In olden days engineering and medical surgery was taught in temples.

What are you trying to post? NIT admission itself has happened, after AIEEE exams. Free certificate for them, and what they will do later? The best option is to to put them on extra coaching and let them learn additionally.

Srini, this Haqo is an idiot of the highest order. He doesn't even know what an NIT is. Forget him and relax.
