This unprecedented violence,loot and arson has its genesis in economic disparities. Wealth is being accumulated and restricted to few people or institution. When millions sleep without food what is the rationale of big fat weddings where people spend millions on exoctic delicacies. Wealth needs to be distributed properly across economic stratas. Secondly, the aspirations of people have increased manifold. It is not fight only about basic needs but it is also fight about gadgets and designer clothes and lifestyles which normally cannot be sustained without good income. We are suffering from recession of values and morals too.

It is lik comparing a duck and a cat. Its irrelavent here. United kingdom has best of Police and disater mangement systems still it flunked when few rioters took law in hand. What could have Mr. Modi would have done or think about Sikh Riot. Did anyone could stop it. You cannot tame the mob untill you have an advanced mob predictabilty systems.
