Only upper class people are demanding United Andhra
by srinivas Gogineni on Aug 08, 2011 08:27 PM  | Hide replies

The people who are demanding United Andhra are the people who are comfortably settled in Hyderabad and its nearby regions
Look at the people living in Andhra , mostly SC, ST, and BC’s , they are suffering a lot because the rich people of Andhra don’t want to develop there region but want to invest in HYD , B’LORE and Chenni and develop other regions, shame on them
I demand its high time we have our own state – Andhra State

Jai Andhra JAi

@Gogineni, I have stayed in the new state of chattisgarh for 10 years. Even after 11 years of its formation their new capital naya raipur still on papers, they could not mobilize Rs.2000 crores for their new capital. Their southern districts of dantewada and bastar have into the hands of naxals. They planned to build their secreteriat with 140 crores. Lowest bid they got is 220 crores. Center's help for them is nominal. Go and see their present secreteriat in Raipur, our Ranga reddy collectorate is better than that. If highly developed Hyd is gone, seemandhra people have to beg even to pay salaries to their staff.

Telangana is a national issue
by Padma Vibhishan on Aug 08, 2011 06:08 PM  | Hide replies

Actually, this is a national issue and it is the responsibility of central government to resolve it. Telugu-speaking people are divided and that's why the need for a separate state. That's a good point made by Revanth Reddy, even if he contunues work for Andhra Babu.

Next elections not too far!!
by Padma Vibhishan on Aug 08, 2011 06:04 PM

Chidambaram's reply in parliament appears to have made it clear that the Congress party has decided to drag it's feet on this issue once again. That could spell doom for Congress party, as the resignations of MPs from Telangana might have a spiralling effect and bring the UPA government down very soon.

by idea on Aug 08, 2011 05:29 PM  | Hide replies

Employees resign like your public representatives. After formation of Telangana state KCR/KTR give your jobs.
You have no confidence to get job after formation of T state? or no confidence on state formation?

KCR/KTR would force employees to resign and collect 10/15 lakhs for peon, 20/25 lakhs for clerks, 50/60 lakhs for officers ... so on. Of course they have to distribute the collection to Congress - new democracy/cpi but not to TDP.

TDP will not survive in Telangana, even if they manage to win handsonmely in coastal Andhra. Lots of new jobs will be created in Vijayawada/Guntur twin cities, new capital of Andhra. Property prices have increased manifold in coastal region. What does that indicate? See the writing on wall and act fast, before it is too late.

Another JAC.
by Venkata Ramana on Aug 08, 2011 12:55 PM

There is one more JAC coordination committee under the leadership of Sh Konda Laxman Bapuji with all the same leaders in so many other JACs. There are already hundreds of JACs – two/three/four JACs each of Congress/TDP/TRS/OU/KU/CASTES. It appears that everybody is greedy and want to make money and power in the name of JACs. Where is the necessity for forming so many JACs, when you aim for separate statehood of T – greed. It appears all T-leaders are greedy and they want only Posts and not interested in the welfare of people.

The secretary to this JAC is also a Professor. It is evident that there are no studies in T-area and all professors took part time job as secretaries in some JAC and driving their ppl into agitation. The private schools in Warangal (so far not clear whether entire T-districts or only Warangal Dist) declared solidarity to T-agitation and declared indefinite closure of their schools. Very good you are doing social service - put all your children on roads - they will be begging on roads and you will be happy to see their future like this (god save us this should not happen/Papamu saminchu gaka).

TNGO JAC and ESMA.
by Venkata Ramana on Aug 08, 2011 12:40 PM  | Hide replies

Today on TV9 (Telangana Vision 9) there was discussion about discrimination in Government Jobs to Telangana People and implementation of ESMA.

I would like to put a question to Srinivas Goud, Secretary of TNGO what sort of discrimination is government showing towards T-Ppl - giving you a secured job? Mind you there are so many qualified young people on road in search of jobs. What will you get if you get a separate Telangana? Would you become collector/ president/special job?

One way he is claiming that there are about 6 lakhs government employees/teachers (Govt.) presently working in T-area and if you take wife and husband of employees they become 12 L, plus 2 children (Min) they would become 24 lakhs, and inlaws 2 they would become 50 L – who are supporting them to go on strike. – He has forgotten about their parents who gave them birth but they are embracing their in-laws. This sort of disrespect shown to their parents is the only cause which is obstructing their success.

You have been given jobs (not though qualified – think yourself sincerely) to serve your own people. By participating in strike/bundh etc. frequently you are depriving your own people the service required by them – causing them inconvenience and not the people of other regions. With this you will achieve nothing but lose your extra daily income/livelihood.

Just answer one question - why most of the employees in secretariat are not from Telanagana region? Don't say that people from outside are more qualified.

Rightly said brother...
This daily publishes one article trying attribute every problem from garbage not being cleaned to US crisis to Seemandhrites instead of questioning their own elected representatives.
And even ridiculous..one day they publsihed how Nannayya(from Andhra region) supressed Vemulavada Bhimakavi(Supposedly from T) going back to the 11th century(Tomorrow they might come with an article about how Seemandhra cavemen tried to dominate Telangana Cavemen) and trying to create a feeling that SAs tried to dominate Ts from the time earth was born :-)
